#Cybersec is an industry filled with people passionate about what they do. This means they often have high expectations for themselves, but this passion can sometimes be exploited by employers. I've seen several people get burned out because of this vicious cycle. Take care of yourself first, and respect your free time. Capitalism's primary interest is financial gain. Work for someone who respects your work-life balance and hires the right number of people for the job—no more, no less. If you are hiring, try to understand what your employees need, what their issues and concerns are, and work together to create a healthy environment. Many times mental health goes only one way.
