Shouldn't CT DEEP shift funding to fulfill more e-bike incentive applications, since they are the most equitable and lifecycle emission reducing battery-electric, zero-emission mobility vehicle? They've underspent the CT CHEAPR EV (car) incentive budget for years. Time to spend it where the demand is, right? There were almost 6,400 applications for e-bike incentives in 2023, but they only funded 500. There's a CT CHEAPR EV Board meeting on Dec 14th.
