Bengaluru vs Pune? Which city is better for software developers? I've had the chance to live in both cities, and here’s my evaluation from a software engineer’s perspective. 🎯 Bengaluru ✅ Pros - A lot of job opportunities as almost every company has office in BLR - Excellent networking and connection-building opportunities. - Pleasant weather, arguably among the best in India. - 24x7 living city ❌ Cons - High cost of living, including rent and transportation - A really bad traffic, especially on Outer Ring Road (ORR) - Water issues 🎯 Pune ✅ Pros - Lower cost of living compared to BLR - Lots of good places to visit nearby - Pleasant weather ❌ Cons - Less job opportunities as IT is limited to only 1-2 areas - Many roads are narrow and lack street lights - Disappointing in night food and nightlife Personally, I ❤️ Bengaluru. Dude, you haven't seen real pune!!. Here is the reality 1. A lot of high paying opportunities in backend plus niche front end positions like react js, ai etc. 2. Good industry standard opportunities in all tech positins. 3. Night life is better than bnglr. 4. Food in pune is 10/10. Of bnglr is 3/10. Punei got everything in best: north, south, biryanies, no. Veg, punekars are foodie... Fyi you can find tasty foods plus clubs at 3am in punei too easily!!. Bnglr.. High paying jobs for all tech stacks Rest punei outperforms
