Bengaluru vs Pune? Which city is better for software developers? I've had the chance to live in both cities, and here’s my evaluation from a software engineer’s perspective. 🎯 Bengaluru ✅ Pros - A lot of job opportunities as almost every company has office in BLR - Excellent networking and connection-building opportunities. - Pleasant weather, arguably among the best in India. - 24x7 living city ❌ Cons - High cost of living, including rent and transportation - A really bad traffic, especially on Outer Ring Road (ORR) - Water issues 🎯 Pune ✅ Pros - Lower cost of living compared to BLR - Lots of good places to visit nearby - Pleasant weather ❌ Cons - Less job opportunities as IT is limited to only 1-2 areas - Many roads are narrow and lack street lights - Disappointing in night food and nightlife Personally, I ❤️ Bengaluru.
