The contexts in which international institutions support environmental and development interventions are increasingly characterized by fragility, conflict, and violence (FCV). Insecurities are exacerbated by #climatechange and natural resource degradation, placing greater strain on economic, social, and political systems already under pressure. The challenges facing implementation and evaluation of environmental programs were the focus of the FCV session at this year’s Conference on Evaluating Environment and Development.
