Organizational culture is everyone's business but the tone can only be set at the top. Leaders have the responsibility to make a better culture a reality through everyday leadership. #InvertedOragnogram #SharedLeadership #EmployeeExperienceMatters
Recent findings are a wake-up call: Almost 90% of employees are not engaged work. (Gallup) That's not just a statistic. It's a loud message that our workplace environment needs a serious makeover. What I often see are companies making engagement: 1️⃣ Overly complex with multi-layered initiatives. ➥ That confuse rather than clarify. 2️⃣ Focused on distant futures. ➥ Neglecting the immediate, day-to-day needs. 3️⃣ Misaligned with what employees truly desire. ➥ Such as connection, meaningful work, recognition. To fix this, companies need to make it: 1️⃣ Simple and clear. ➥ Easy for everyone to know how and why to engage. 2️⃣ Immediate and ongoing. ➥ Make engagement part of the everyday culture. 3️⃣ Employee-centered. ➥ Asking and including what teams need and want. A thriving workplace is built on what makes us human: The need to feel valued. The need to feel connected. The need to feel understood. Ask yourself - When was the last time you felt these things at work? Now, consider the power you hold to create that moment for someone else. 👇 Want a PDF of my top infographics? 👇 ▶️ Go Here: https://lnkd.in/g2xbnwhp Please repost to help others out there! ♻️

Creating bespoke business simulations that are engaging, fun and highly effective in developing business and leadership potential
This statistic is a very sad state of affairs. I know there is some great work going on in the L&D community to address many of the ABCs listed. Learning opportunities that have immediate value for the employee, develop their appreciation of the roles of others in the organisation and the interdependence of functions and help clarify how they can collaborate to achieve collective goals that align with company strategy will not only directly benefit personal growth but also foster a culture of connection, recognition and meaningful work. We take pride in the fact that our bespoke business simulations offer engaging and fun learning, that has direct value to employees, fostering a motivated and forward thinking team outlook. #learninganddevelopment #employeeengagement #businesssimulation #teamwork
