I had a great conversation with my daughter about ways to earn money for the things she wants in life. It's so important to empower our kids to think about entrepreneurship and develop skills that will serve them for a lifetime. From simple ideas like setting up a lemonade stand or babysitting to more creative ventures, we brainstormed and made a plan. I want her to know that earning money isn't taboo—it's a path to independence, creativity, and learning the value of hard work. As an entrepreneur, it's important to stay connected to reality. My feet are on the ground, and I'm always listening to what's happening around me. I see many entrepreneurs living in bubbles, not really understanding the real-world problems their businesses face. Before you raise money, make sure you truly understand your business and have experienced the day-to-day challenges yourself. For example, one of the biggest issues I see is with our delivery riders. There are 2.5 million riders in the country, and many of them have really tough lives. They face lots of problems with their jobs and don't get paid well. It's easy to sit in an office and come up with ideas, but unless you go out and see these problems for yourself, you're missing the point. The real world is very different from what you see from behind a desk. So, before you think about getting more money or growing your business, spend time in the field. Talk to your team, understand their problems, and see things firsthand. That's how you'll know what needs to be fixed and how you can really make a difference. 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟯𝟮 𝗿𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸!! Hey folks! 🌟 Let’s get real—being an entrepreneur is far from a fairy tale. Here’s a truth bomb from my journey! Back in 2012, I had just 32 rupees in my account. 😅 Imagine this: my two best friends and I took the plunge into a massive 30 crore government project. We pooled our resources and I teamed up with a crew of 12, ready to grind! We tirelessly hustled for 8 months, only to discover our invoices were ghosted. Yep, classic bureaucratic nonsense. 🙄 We had to liquidate most of our assets just to keep afloat. Then, elections hit, and the new government scrapped our entire project overnight. Everything we’d built over 12 years, poof—gone. 😔 Can you believe it? All our hard work evaporated, and we’re still waiting for a dime. On top of that, my partners—who were also friends—had a fallout with me. In my innocence, I sold everything to help them out, thinking that’s what friends do! But reality hit hard: they were equally responsible for our chaos. Here’s what this wild ride taught me: 1. Entrepreneurship is a rocky path—definitely not for the timid. 2. Keep feelings out of business—it's not personal. 3. Think carefully before jumping on any opportunity. It's okay to say NO. 4. Risk is inevitable, but make it smart—survival depends on it! 🌊 Cheers to all the entrepreneurs—keep grinding and embrace every twist and turn! New sheets!! 🙌 I'm excited to share that I have new sheets 👏 ☺️ It might not seem like much to many people, but it's a lot to me. As an entrepreneur, and starting out in business, you don't earn any money for yourself. Those who have been here before me have advised that I'll make nothing for the first 3 to 5 years! Well, last month we made a €5 profit 👏 And I am absolutely thrilled 😀 We have just started our 4th year, and things are really starting to come together. The years of study, the money its cost (to run a business and to get the qualifications), the years of gaining experience, to get us to this point where we are really becoming known as a trusted organisation that delivers exceptionally high standards of training and consultancy. When you engage me for your training and consultancy needs, you don't get off the shelf products.
