This Christmas give the gift of sport to a disabled child 🧑🎄 It’s a gift that will last a lifetime – and unlike a shiny new toy it won’t be broken by Boxing Day. Disabled children and young people are left out of sport through no fault of their own. That’s why Disability Sports Coach (DSC) runs inclusive community sports clubs staffed by expert coaches, so that everyone gets to play. It's why we train PE teachers to adapt sport and offer specialist on-site coaching. We also run inclusive online classes for children who prefer to exercise at home. But as a charity we rely on donations to support our work. ❖ It costs £20 to deliver an hour of inclusive online exercise. ❖ It costs £15 to buy an Audible Visually Impaired Football for use in our club sessions. ❖ It’s £10 to send out 2 home activity packs with instructions for sports activities and games to do at home Make a difference today and give a disabled child the gift of sport. It's almost that time of year again when I celebrate Harry's birthday by taking on some kind of mad challenge. I've climbed mountains ⛰, roller skated 🛼 in the car park, danced for 24 hours 💃 and taken part in a boxing match 🥊 amongst lots of other things. But this year is extra special as it's Harry's 25th birthday so I'm looking for something even more challenging to mark what would have been a special birthday. UPDATE - Leedsfestival PLEASE HELP! We have been trying and trying to make Laila's dream come true and we appreciate all the help we have had. Unfortunately we haven't been able to get contact with Lana Del Rey to make this dream come true. Although this wasn't logistically ideal to begin with, Laila's Mom has made the decision to let Laila attend Leeds Festival so she gets to see Lana Del Rey perform. This is the only hope that we can see of an encounter with Laila and Lana. We are more than happy to purchase the tickets for Leeds Festival for Laila and her family. But SHE DESERVES MORE.... A front row seat, a backstage pass, a shout out on stage from Lana Del Re. We would appreciate anything that would make this special for Laila, She deserves more than to be among a huge crowd with a limited view. Does your business or workplace do corporate giving? Lolly Jar Circus donations are tax deductible and not for keeping the lights on. Our donations are used mainly as scholarships for our families who are doing it tough. One of the greatest barriers to our young people attending our classes is they need specialist support, yet do not qualify for N DIS funding. We would like to have more scholarships available to families with vulnerable children who fall in to this gap. Our current concession rate is $15 per class and the full rate is $30.
