"What am I now?" Terry Crews got cut from an NFL team and ended up humbly sweeping floors and washing Ice Cube's car before he changed his perspective and found his purpose after the game. During this clip Terry speaks out about the depression he faced while transitioning away from the game of football and it's similarities to transitioning from the military. "When you quit football it's almost like the military" According to statistics from the NCAA, only 1.6%(262) of the 16,380 draft eligible college football players will turn pro and have an opportunity to compete for one of only 1,696 jobs. Of those fortunate 1,696, on average their NFL careers will only last 3.3 years. According to statistics from the Army, approximately 30% of officers, and 10% of enlisted soldiers retire from the Army. What do these set of statistics have in common? 📢 Lots of young adults TRANSITIONING‼️ No matter if you play football or serve our country, know that you won't do either of them forever, and that you don't have to be defined by them forever. Because of our level of dedication and how we identify with these lifestyles, transitioning from them can be difficult at times, but still very possible. Be encouraged and know that 🫵🏾You 🫵🏾 can do it! Don't be afraid to turn the page in your life, you might just be a few pages away from the best chapter yet! #transition #transitioning #transitioningmilitary #transitioningservicemembers #transitioningveterans #lifeafterfootball #collegefootball #nflfootball

Bittersweet Goodbyes: What My Last Sermon Taught Me About Leadership Yesterday, I delivered my final sermon in a military chapel. Just as I thought I was closing this chapter on a high note, the stakes started rising, and my smooth transition into civilian life suddenly felt uncertain. Yes, I delivered a heartfelt final sermon that resonated deeply with everyone present. But, just when I thought I could ride that emotional wave into retirement bliss, I realized the weight of leaving the military family behind was heavy. No, I wasn't physically knocked out, but emotionally, I felt a blow. And then Chaplain (LTC) Dicks, my replacement, stepped in with a surprise—he presented me with a drawing he did of yours truly. This wasn't just a sketch; it was a reminder of the bonds and connections that make leaving tough. Receiving this highlighted the deep connections I'll leave behind. Now, facing the unknown of civilian life feels like stepping into a boxing ring again. I question whether I can replicate these meaningful connections in civilian life - This is where the real challenge begins. Here's what this experience taught me: - Genuine recognition comes in small gestures. - Leading involves personal connections. - Embrace change with gratitude and excitement. - Cherish uplifting moments to inspire others. As I gear up for the next chapter, I’m carrying these lessons with me, fueled by the amazing chaplains I've had the pleasure of working alongside. But the real question remains—can I replicate the meaningful connections of military life in the civilian world? That’s a story still being written. What challenges have you faced in your own transitions, and how did you overcome them? Let’s share our experiences and support each other on this journey.

We're sold out... AGAIN! and taking pre-orders... AGAIN! Selling out of product can be such a polarizing feeling: 🍸 On one hand, I feel a sense of pride! What we're doing is working & people want to try our product! We did that, Kylie Vonnahme 👏 🍸 On the other hand, I feel frantic. We need more stock! Let's put pressure on our manufacturing and co-packing partners for quicker turn around! We need to change our marketing messaging! *making a mental note to get better at projections* The list goes on. BUT... seeing those pre-orders rolling in DEFINITELY makes it better!! GO PRE-ORDER NOW @ un-supplements.com 🥂
Memorial Day Weekend was a success... such a success that we're SOLD OUT! Don't worry, we have another batch in production that should be ready to ship by June 21st. Go pre-order now @ un-supplements.com 🥂

The USA Olympic basketball teams demonstrate what the make up of a high functioning work team looks like. A group of individual contributors who are really good at what they do, without too much overlap. A selflessness to help elevate each other, but ready to execute when called upon. A leader that can take the blame for the team, while finding ways to help the team execute more efficiently. Time to develop as a team and a trust in the process to get there.
It was an honor to witness that! 🐐🐐🐐 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Best place to celebrate a birthday!! All jokes aside, Kwik Trip seriously is the greatest gas station around! The Kwik Trip mission is to treat others as they would like to be treated and putting the consumer at such a high priority has made the chain thrive to the noteriety it has now. Given the lengthy process and supply chain of getting gas all the way to your local station from the ground of which it came, profit margins on gas are low. So low, that gas station owners can really only make their money from the goods inside the building they sell. “So what makes it so special?” Great question reader, and it is because Kwik Trip has taken out the complex supply chain of its products inside the store and sources a lot of them directly from a Kwik Trip owned kitchen. This doesn’t only make their goods delicious, it makes them extremely affordable too! We eat tasty treats, Kwik Trip still makes it’s money. This can be contained by a tight-knit geographical leash which keeps Kwik Trip mainly in Wisconsin. That turns the focus onto a narrow number of areas within the business such as food quality, cleanliness, and customer service which gave Kwik Trip the #1 spot of gas stations ranked by USA Today. In my 22 years on this Earth, I have never gone into a Kwik Trip and had a negative experience with an employee. That confidence probably comes from child care, healthcare, scholarships, 40% profit sharing, and recognition programs among many other benefits available to their staff. Regardless of what Kwik Trip does or does not do great, there is plenty that we can learn as businesspeople about how putting the consumer first instead of analyzing their consumer habits and manipulating them can really help a company thrive. The welcoming atmosphere at Kwik Trip is no joke and paired with Midwest hospitality it becomes unbeatable, so I get why this guy would want his birthday to be there!
What a great way to celebrate a birthday! Happy Birthday, Cooper. 😊 🎉

ARMA Speaker -- File Share Clean-Up Guru -- Monthly webinars on ROT clean-up, data management and IG technologies.
Imagine using the same search for records management. That's most "In-Place" products. They use the native search that's on your Outlook, Teams etc. I call them piggy-backers. If you hear connectors or APIs in their pitch, you are getting a 🐷-backer. Pro Tip: Go to teams and try running a search. See how much of a horror story that is.
I think we've all been there 😅

How will the world change on May 28? The new Ocean Shipping Reform Act begins to change everything - the Detention and Demurrage Rule tells us how. But not everything is crystal clear, so this year's AGRICULTURE TRANSPORTATION COALITION (AgTC) Annual Meeting will be full of new thoughts, new solutions, new players, new service providers, and new questions for the industry, shipper, FMC decision-makers. www.agtrans.org/events

How much does it cost? This is one of the most frequently asked questions. But, you know, there are things we can estimate: the cost of team time or the cost of service. But there are things that cannot be measured. These are credibility, trust and the level of communication. These thing can only be measured through the prism of relationships between people, not through a set of numbers. Lively people are your success.
We definitely had an awesome April! What about you?
