Feeling more burnt out than Michael Scott after the Scranton Strangler case? In the hustle and bustle of our professional lives, it's easy to forget who matters most: ourselves. Here are a few daily reminders I use to prioritise my well-being and avoid distractions: 🌸 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 "𝐌𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞" 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐭: Just like important meetings, block out time in your calendar for activities that recharge you. Whether it's a walk in nature, reading a good book, or simply taking a nap, treat this time as sacred. 🌸 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥: It's okay to say no to extra requests that don't align with your priorities or drain your energy. Protect your time fiercely and communicate boundaries with respect. 🌸 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞: Not everything needs to be done by you. Delegate tasks whenever possible, and be ruthless about eliminating activities that don't contribute to your goals. 🌸 𝐍𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝:Feed yourself healthy foods that give you energy, and prioritise quality sleep. Don't underestimate the power of a well-rested and nourished mind! 🌸 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭:Schedule breaks from technology throughout the day. Step away from screens, clear your head, and come back feeling refreshed and focused. Hello LinkedIn Family! As we dive into another promising day filled with opportunities and tasks, I urge each one of you to remember the importance of self-care amidst the hustle. It is easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of responsibilities, striving for excellence, and constantly upskilling ourselves. I recently had a heart-to-heart with a friend who nearly reached her breaking point. She found herself engulfed in a myriad of tasks, so much so that she unintentionally neglected her own well-being. The wake-up call came when she realized how crucial it is to strike a balance between productivity and self-care. Water became her lifeline amidst the chaos. Hydration kept her going when she felt overwhelmed. And it got me thinking – how many of us overlook the simple act of drinking water regularly while we are deeply engrossed in our work? The truth is, in our pursuit of excellence, we must prioritize our health and well-being. It is not just about meeting deadlines or achieving targets; it is about doing so sustainably. Skipping meals, neglecting hydration, and forgoing breaks may seem like sacrifices in the name of productivity, but they ultimately hinder our ability to perform at our best. So, as you plan your day and set out to conquer your goals, I implore you to incorporate moments of rest, stretches to rejuvenate your body, and ample hydration to keep your mind sharp. Kindly make a collective commitment to prioritize self-care alongside your professional endeavours. Here is to a day filled with accomplishments, balanced with moments of self-care and rejuvenation! #selfcare #Productivity #WellBeing #virtualassistantservices

Prioritizing Health at Work: A Reminder on World Heart Day ❤️ As professionals, we often push ourselves to meet deadlines, achieve targets, and stay productive, but how often do we prioritize our health amidst it all? On #WorldHeartDay, let’s take a moment to remember that our heart health is just as important as our work. Long hours of sitting, high-stress levels, and unhealthy eating habits are common in today's work culture, leading to long-term risks for our heart. But small, mindful changes can make a big difference! Here are a few tips to keep your heart healthy while working: 1. Take Regular Breaks: Get up, stretch, or walk around every hour. Movement helps circulation and reduces stress. 2. Healthy Snacking: Swap chips and sugary treats for fruits, nuts, or yogurt to maintain energy without compromising your health. 3. Manage Stress: Incorporate deep breathing exercises or mindfulness techniques to lower stress levels, which directly impact heart health. 4. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Dehydration can strain the heart, especially during long work hours. 5. Work-Life Balance: Make time for physical activity, hobbies, and rest. A balanced lifestyle is key to long-term heart health. On this World Heart Day, let’s remind ourselves that success at work means nothing without good health. Take care of your heart—because a healthy heart fuels a healthy life and a thriving career! Wishing everyone a heart-healthy day! ❤️ #WorldHeartDay #HeartHealth #WorkLifeBalance #HealthyLiving #TakeCareOfYourself #LinkedInWellness

Morning Walks: The First Step Towards Wellness 🌞🚶♀️ • Starting our day with a morning walk can truly transform our lives over time. In our fast-paced world, where stress 🤯often creeps into both personal and professional spheres, even the smallest things can weigh heavily on us. That’s why incorporating a morning walk into our routine can make a profound and positive impact on our well-being. • Nature 🍃holds a remarkable power to calm and rejuvenate. Surrounding ourselves with greenery instantly soothes the eyes, body and soul, providing a refreshing start to the day. Personally, I’ve experienced this firsthand: days that begin with a walk in nature leave me feeling fresh and positive, ready to tackle challenges with a clear mind. Conversely, skipping my morning walk often leaves me feeling irritable and low on energy. • Few people literally wonder 🤔why I prioritize a morning walk when weight loss isn’t my goal. The answer is simple: it’s about cultivating energy and positivity that lasts throughout the day. The tranquility of the early hours infuses me with a sense of calm and optimism that’s invaluable in both personal and professional endeavors. • Once we establish the habit of a morning walk, its benefits become undeniable. Improved mental clarity, heightened energy levels💪, and an overall sense of well-being are just a few of the positive changes we can expect to see. Jumpstart your morning 🌅 with a walk and witness the life-changing effects—your mind and body will be grateful! ✨ #MorningWalk #WellnessJourney #Nature

Dear LinkedIn Family, In today's fast-paced world, we all strive to excel in our careers, always aiming to be productive and efficient. However, it's important to remember that our health should never take a back seat to our work. Here’s a lighthearted guide to help you balance the demands of your job with the need to take care of yourself: 1. Prioritize Sleep: Instead of burning the midnight oil, try to get a good night's rest. Responding to emails can wait until morning – your body will thank you! 2. Don't Skip Meals: While it might be tempting to power through your day with just coffee, remember to take breaks for proper meals. Fueling your body is essential for sustained energy. 3. Maintain Good Posture: Consider investing in an ergonomic chair. Your back and shoulders will appreciate the support, and you’ll feel better overall. 4. Stay Active: While work is important, so is your physical health. Even a short walk or a quick stretch can make a big difference in your day. 5. Manage Stress Wisely: Find healthy ways to cope with stress, whether it's through mindfulness, hobbies, or spending time with loved ones. Balance is key. 6. Unplug Occasionally: It's okay to step away from your phone and emails. Taking time to disconnect can help you recharge and come back more focused. 7. Regular Checkups: Don’t neglect your health checkups. Keeping track of your well-being ensures you can continue to excel in both your personal and professional life. So, dear colleagues, let's strive for a harmonious balance between work and health. By taking care of ourselves, we can achieve long-term success and well-being. #WorkLifeBalance #HealthAndWellness #SustainableSuccess #MindfulLiving

WAKE-UP CALL!! Put Your Health First for a Successful Life! Let's talk about something important: choosing health over work! For the past four months, l've been working hard as a CA professional, spending long hours at my desk and commuting. But despite my efforts, I haven't been as efficient as I'd like to be. Why? It's not just tiredness-it's the pain I feel from sitting too long, especially in my neck. Realising this was a wake-up call. Yes, work is important, chasing dreams is exciting, and using our skills is fulfilling. But sometimes, we forget to take care of ourselves. I've experienced this firsthand, dealing with neck pain. So, how can we change this? How can workplaces help us be healthier and more productive? It starts with creating a culture that cares about our overall well-being. That means having better desks and encouraging short breaks to move around. There are lots of ways companies can support our health. And I want to share some yoga exercises that have helped me with my neck pain. Trying these out might make a big difference for you too. Remember, taking care of your health isn't just about feeling better-it's about reaching your full potential and doing your best work. Let's work together to find a better balance between work and health! #HealthOverWork #WellnessAtWork #ProductivityBoost #HealthyCulture

So this week I just finished up a Hustle and Flow 5-day Challenge. I took 50 people through the process of learning that there is room for the harmony of work/life in each day. I wanted to share this post because I think right now as we go into the summer and we travel, the kids are home, etc.... we can get lost in the 'hustle" of the day and forget about the FLOW. For me, being on the road as a speaker, taking care of myself is critical - I cannot do my job and give my best if I am not well. But it is not always easy to get it done, even with the best of intentions. My friend Averill shares some great tips to make sure you are taking care of yourself, even when you are on the road. #selfcare #worklifebalance #successtips #maketimeforyou #mindsetmatters #fridaythoughts #wellness #wellbeing
