It's all well and good to say #transit agencies should share fleet tracking data with customers and let riders pay with bank and credit cards, but how do you do that if there's no internet accessible on your routes? Not every agency operates in a metro area, after all.  Lucky for you rural transit agencies out there, we recently partnered with Caltrans Division of Research, Innovation and System Information and Trinity Transit to test satellite antennas as a potential solution!  Here's what we found: 1. The satellite antenna had a transmission success rate of 99.5%. 📲 ✔ 2. No visible dead zones appeared in an area which saw only 50% cellular coverage during similar testing. 💀 ❌ 3.
