Today is a special day, as I am celebrating my 25th anniversary with NielsenIQ. Hang on…25 years seriously? It certainly doesn’t feel like 25 years at all. I would like to express my gratitude to Bárbara Bertolini Schmitt for the invitation to serve on the Jury Board for the historic Final of 10th SAP Innoweeks. It was an honor to join with esteemed colleagues Sandro José Rigo and Rafael Kunst (Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos), Elifas Gerhardt de Vargas (Rio Innovation Week), Daniel Moreira (PUC-RS), Alexandre D'Aquino (Tech Mahindra), Rafael Matte Silveira Martins (Rödl & Partner) and Fábio Verruck (UCS iNOVA). Quite inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and innovative spirit of the teams from Gerdau, Santander, Mabe Global and LVMH in their Pitch, as they worked to deliver valuable #AI solutions using SAP technologies. Additionally, it was insightful to learn the strategic perspectives on innovation dynamics and the future of technology from Prof. Dr. Clas Neumann, Senior Vice President and Head of Global SAP Labs Network, Stefan Steinle, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Customer Support & Cloud Lifecycle Management, and Dennison John, Managing Director of SAP Labs Latin America. Since my first visit to SAP Labs in 2022, when we were just beginning our journey with SAP Next-Gen at UCS - Universidade de Caxias do Sul, one thing that brought my attention—beyond the technology and infrastructure—was the #culture and #people at #SAP. Achieving and maintaining global #leadership, particularly in the #technology sector where human capital is key, requires more than just delivering valuable solutions to customers; it requires exceptional people and exceptional relationships. This is not an easy feat. Part of this, perhaps, may be due core five principles of SAP Labs, where I could highlight one (due limitation of characters) in special: -- 5) We put egos aside and work as a #team towards a common vision. The competition is outside, not inside. --- I left Labs that (rainy) day with a thought. One aspect of SAP Innoweeks stood out to me—a strong sense of fairness. When one team experienced technical difficulties during their video presentation, Matheus Zeuch graciously allowed them to present again, recognizing that the innovation process was far greater than just that day’s presentation. I've seen different behaviors in other final pitch events. During the closing celebration, SAP teams also handed out small tokens of appreciation to participants. This gesture sent a powerful message: even if you didn't won the grand prize, your participation and efforts were deeply valued. It´s more about We. This sense of fairness breaks the "winner-takes-all" mentality, keeping people recognized, collaborative, and motivated for future challenges - enabling the collective power over the individualistic/egoistic behavior. And here comes a lesson, on values that create work environments that foster a sense of belonging. You belong. You care. You build. You share. Powerful stuff. This year, marked Accenture's seventh year partnering with Kieler Woche, one of the world's largest sailing events. ⛵🎉 Our involvement includes a jointly developed #Sailing App that provides live results, race schedules with updates and weather alerts for all participating sailors. Currently, we are conducting assessments and research as we prepare to relaunch this app in the coming years. Additionally, in collaboration with ServiceNow, we are facilitating the collection of CO2 emissions from sailors, support teams and the organization, contributing to achieving a climate-neutral event. Together with a selected group of SAP leadership members at Accenture DACH and Robert Wickel, we leveraged this year's event to plan for the upcoming fiscal year, focusing on advancing our clients' Cloud ERP transformations through a deepened partnership with SAP. In addition to our leadership meeting, some colleagues also gained first-hand experiences at #KielerWoche2024, mastering the winds on catamarans, J-70 dinghy or RIB boats — similar to how we navigate complex cloud transformations for our clients. 📢 Celebratory Announcement: SLI Lead Together Quality Enablers Forum's Ambassador Induction for 2024-25 🎉 I'm thrilled to share the successful inauguration of the SLI Lead Together Quality Enablers Ambassadors meeting for 2024-2025. It was an honor to host alongside my partner PAVITHRAN SRINIVASAN to share our thoughts into action. My heartfelt thanks go out to all the speakers for their enlightening contributions, and to the dedicated 80+ Ambassadors whose engagement made the event truly memorable. I'd like to express my profound appreciation to Sindhu Gangadharan, Milesh J, Rahul Lodhe, Maheswara Rao EVS, and Siva Kumar N V for entrusting us with the co-leadership and management of the Quality Enabler forum at SAP Labs India. Your backing and insights have been instrumental in articulating our vision and strategic objectives for the forthcoming year to our fervent Ambassadors. The forum's vision to forge a unified SLI Quality Community resonated unequivocally with attendees, and our mission charter, inclusive of our quarterly objectives aimed at amplifying quality consciousness across the enterprise, received enthusiastic support. A standout moment was the exposition on the goals for various workstreams by the respective leads – Mahesh kotta, Raji Thomas, Sheeba Bazaz, Ranganathan Natarajan, Chintu Joseph, and ramcharan kr. The presentation outlined pivotal targets within AI, BTP, and Cloud workstreams. Furthermore, the delineation of the roles and responsibilities of Ambassadors and workstream leads was articulated with clarity, setting the stage for a robust and productive alliance that will propel our mission forward. Future stream meetings are slated to delve deeper into the strategic details. The session concluded with the strategic alignment of Ambassadors to specific workstreams, aligning with their areas of expertise and interests, an initiative that will continue to welcome participation from those unable to attend the event. The open Q&A session was the perfect finale, offering a platform to address questions and provide clarity around resource allocation and support. I extend my gratitude for the active engagement and invaluable insights of all participants. United, we are poised to cultivate a formidable One SLI Quality Community. Anticipate further exhilarating updates and gatherings as we, alongside the Ambassadors from various SAP Labs India synergies, commence this collaborative voyage.
