💫How A Michelin Restaurant Group In London Gets The Importance Of Transparency In Building Their Strategy.💫 Yesterday I kicked off my regular leadership session with the epic Trinity restaurant for 2024. I have been working frequently with the team for 18 months and it was time to get a unified focus with shared accountability for 2024. We were building their strategy. The magic of this group headed up by the inspirational Adam Byatt is their transparency. It fuels their trust, unlocking collaboration, creativity and adaptability. In strategy, transparency is the window to clarity. Empowering teams to navigate a shared vision and be part of decisive action. There is not a moment I am not proud of this group...and as they said themselves, even with everything they achieve, they want to be more! And imagine if it all went right. #michelinrestaurant #team #strategy #success Abbey Hooper --------------------------------------------- 👋🏽 If you are new here, hi I'm Michelle or if we haven't caught up in a while, how ya doing? Imagine this: Sarah, a valued member of your team, consistently arrives at the office 20 minutes late every morning. While her lateness is never explicitly explained, you notice that Sarah's tardiness seems to coincide with her daily coffee run, as she arrives with a freshly brewed café cup in hand. How would you approach this situation as a leader? What steps would you take to address Sarah's lateness while maintaining a positive and constructive relationship? #EvolveHealthDigital #LeadershipChallenges #TeamManagement

𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐑 𝐀 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 What is it? What do you want? What are you promoting? With the approach of End-Of-Year parties, this is an important question all leaders, managers, and team mates need to ask themselves. 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚? Can you only celebrate as a team by going to the pub? Are the only forms of thanks and celebration going drinking all night? Don't get us wrong, there is nothing wrong with having a drink, if that is what you like. But don't make it your culture. Don't make your Christmas Parties focus only on how much money you put on the bar, but rather focus on building your team. Showing them you value their work, that you want them to grow and reach great heights of success. Let's talk and discuss how we can shape your culture into one of support, caring, creativity, growth and fun. You might not find the dream team at the bottom of a bottle. Join Niels tomorrow for a discussion on Leading Cross-Cultural Teams, where he'll explore our cultural nuances can hinder our communication in a global team. Below, Niels discusses Karpman's Drama Triangle and how we can easily get stuck in these toxic roles in the workplace. Signup link is in the comments. #globalteams #culture #newworldofwork

This week I witnessed an inspiring example of distributed leadership in action. Karl (my neighbour in the tractor) and a network of farmers across Orkney self-organised to clear hundreds of roads that the local authority couldn't get to. There was no leader, no meetings, no committee, no emails - just a group of skilled, committed individuals working in unison to achieve incredible things. This left me curious about what stops this kind of collaboration from happening more often in organisational life. As an Exec and team coach, I'm thinking about what I might do differently to support clients in doing more distributed leading. #DistributedLeadership #Collaboration #OrganisationalCulture
