What atomic habits will you build in the new year? 🤔 Atomic habits are implementing small changes in our everyday lives that will bring about extraordinary changes. 🚀 At last week's Sidebar executive dinner, facilitated by the one & only Chase Harden, here were some of the atomic habits that our group committed to put in place: ✅ Bring a bit of humor to the workplace everyday ✅ Appreciating the beauty of nature ✅ Taking a long walk for an hour every day ✅ Working out with a personal trainer to get fit ✅ Eating healthier ✅ Spending time each day to learn a new language with an accountability buddy ✅ Writing in a gratitude journal ✅ Sending a note of gratitude each day to someone in your life ✅ Leaning into meaningful projects that will start to leave a legacy It was so wonderful to meet new friends and get back in touch with old ones. 10moLooks like an amazing time! I love the discussion on atomic habits. I started 2023 with 19% compliance on 10 daily habits that are important to me. I am ending 2023 with 90% compliance on 30 daily habits that are important to me. I really do feel that I am living the life I want to live! Going forward, I am targeting a compliance rate of 85-90% (not 100%) because I always want to be trying and tinkering with new habits on my growth journey. Invariably they take time to learn, tweak, and master.
