New Year 2024 - A new year has started and a lot of people celebrating the coming of the new year. This is an important time to understand that there is a lot of suffering in this world and specially the current situation in Palestine is heart wrenching. We should not be oblivious to their suffering and if someone wants to really make a new year's resolution may it be of reducing the suffering in this world in whatever capacity they can. Let us unite against injustice and call out the actions of oppressors. May the land of Palestine be free, peace and justice reaches the people in full. #newyear2024 #freefreepalestine #justiceforpalestine #justicematters

The sectors of nutrition, health, and education should ideally have never been commercialized or incorporated as sources of tax revenue for any nation. Instead, they should have remained fundamental drivers of economic productivity for all other sectors in an economy. The inevitability of death serves as a stark reminder of this reality. Those who possess the will to drive transformation will come to realize this truth when their time in this living reality concludes. https://lnkd.in/d77_cGt9

reports emerging are gut wrenching and infuriating, as innocent lives, particularly those of women and children, continue to be affected by the ongoing genocide. We cannot turn a blind eye to the suffering of the people in Palestine, and it is disgusting and inhuman to open my phone and witness such a blatant disregard for human rights. As individuals, we find ourselves in a position of shame and powerlessness, questioning the adequacy of the global response to this crisis. It is essential for us to unite as a global community and unequivocally condemn the actions that lead to the suffering of innocent civilians, especially women and children who are the most vulnerable victims in any conflict. This is a moment that calls for collective action and advocacy. It is our moral duty to stand against injustice and demand accountability for those responsible for the violation of human rights. As individuals, we may feel limited in our ability to effect change, but our collective power is significant. We must leverage our voices on social media, engage in conversations, and support organizations working towards peace and human rights in the region. By fostering awareness and solidarity, we can contribute to the global movement advocating for a peaceful and just resolution to the conflict. The world needs to do more, and together, we can be a force for change that stands against the violation of children’s rights and all forms of injustice. #GazaUnderAttack #FreePalestine #StopTheViolence #IsraelWarCrimes #SaveGazaChildren #CeasefireNow #EndTheOccupation #PalestinianRights #SolidarityWithGaza #HumanitarianCrisis #StandWithPalestine #JusticeForGaza #WarOnGaza #InternationalSupport #giveaidbehuman #ProtectGaza #ChildrenUnderAttack #PeaceInTheMiddleEast #StopIsraeliAggression #educaciondiversa #educaciondiversa #globalsolidarity

This Human Rights Day, let's reflect on the past and stand up for justice in the present. 21 March marks a pivotal moment in South Africa's history, as we honour the memory of those who lost their lives in the Sharpeville Massacre, but as we remember our past struggles, we must also acknowledge the echoes of oppression reverberating across the globe. In Palestine today, we are witnessing scenes that hauntingly echo our own history. Like Sharpeville, Palestinian communities face violence and discrimination for simply demanding their basic rights and freedoms. The parallels are undeniable: innocent lives lost, communities torn apart, and fundamental human rights denied. Just as the world stood with us in our darkest hours, we must stand with the people of Palestine. We cannot turn a blind eye to the injustices they endure daily. Their struggle is our struggle, their fight for freedom resonates with our own quest for dignity and equality. As we commemorate Human Rights Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to justice and solidarity. Let us raise our voices against oppression and work tirelessly towards a world where every individual, regardless of their race or creed, can live in peace and dignity. #TheCoalitionForGood #TC4G #HumanityInAction #HumanityForChange #FreePalestine #SavePalestine #EndOccupation #EndApartheid #Ceasefire #WarOnGaza #PalestineUnderAttack #WestBank #LetGazaLive #HumanRightsDay2024 #HumanRightsMonth2024 #30yrsFreedom

No. I’m not celebrating. I’m not celebrating because the math is entirely F’d up. Israel murdered 210 Indigenous Palestinians, injured another 600… …to “save” 4 White settlers. Instead of agreeing to a ceasefire, and negotiating a hostage exchange, they hid in humanitarian aid truck, entered a densly-populated refugee camp, and opened fire on people desperate for aid. Carried out a massacre within a genocide. So no. Not celebrating. The math…to date they’ve: - Genocided 40,000 - Maimed 80,000 Here’s the Israeli-to-Palestinian ratio we are being asked to accept. - 10,000 Palestinians killed per hostage - 20,000 injured per hostage - 4,000 children murdered per hostage So, no. I am not celebrating. There is no relief or happiness for Israelis. No, there is ZERO bittersweet-ness. Any notion that there is something remotely positive about this is inequitable and unjust. Any it’s-human-to-feel-happiness-for-the-released-and-their-families balance nonsense is simply an acceptance of this really 🤬’d up math. It is racist. It is Islamophobic. It is Yt settler, colonial supremacy. It is grotesque. . . . . I am livid. #numbers #dothemath #justice #moralcompass #landback #indigenouslivesmatter #PalestinianLivesMatter

As we celebrate our Independence, let’s remember those who are still fighting for their freedom. While we enjoy our freedom, we should think about people in Palestine who are still working hard to be free and live in peace. Our hearts are with them, and we hope for peace and fairness for everyone. Let’s celebrate our freedom and also share our thoughts and support for those who need it. Together, we hope for a world where everyone can be free and happy. #independenceday #peaceforpalestine #supportforpeace #freedomforall #globalsolidarity #hopeforjustice #palestine #standwithpalestine #humanrights #peaceandjustice #supporthumanrights #equalityforall #globalsupport #togetherforpeace #endinjustice #solidarity #justiceforpalestine #peacefulworld #humanrightsforall #hopeforchange #unityforpeace #freedomandjustice #globalpeace #supportfreedom #peacefulfuture #humanrightsmatter #hypexcreative

“Happy New Year”to all my LinkedIn colleagues and friends. ✨ I wish you all prosperity and best wishes for your individual journey, whatever that maybe. Although celebrating new beginnings is difficult and pretty sad when you have wars which are still continuing and innocent lives are being destroyed by no fault but by just existing, and learning to survive, especially for some in their own homeland. Children of Palestine have the right to live , the right to play , the right to laugh, the right to grow up , the right to dream, the right to exist and a right to a peaceful safe family life. The ongoing massacre of Palestinians children and women is beyond belief. Especially in todays society when everyone else is protected by Human Rights Law, one questions why do these lives not matter? Those in power continue to strive to manipulate others/us by fuelling hate, justifying violence and killing. There is little hope when we have politicians like Tony Blair who are being elected to lobby and act as a mediator, to encourage transfer of Palestinians to other countries. If they are to survive. It seems now we are bartering with human lives too. 😞 Tony Blair’s government supported the Iraq War, later we learnt it was all propaganda and unjustified. So many lives lost and no one held accountable. Rather than standing firm and calling for Ceasefire and save lives. There is little hope for a peaceful 2024, unless we continue to turn a blind eye and remain self absorbed about our own success and lives. Just a thought, a reflection. #newbeginnings #newyear2024 #ceasefirenow #freegaza #freedomofexpression #failedhumanity
