If we believe the Golden Rule, then why is it so hard to apply to ourselves? Why can we be kind and forgiving to others, yet struggle to give ourselves the same grace. Read my blog post The Personal Golden Rule for some thoughts on this. https://lnkd.in/ecXtv4vh#RuralGeorgiaGrowingStronger#UGASSW#UGACAES
This is how beta ladies and sigma gentlemen vet each other?
A feminist will never a beta lady.
Think of your partner's needs/wants before yours. They will reciprocate. Be each other helping hands. Be selfless, not selfish. Let actions speak, not words.
Lady's pledge
Gentleman questions for Lady on 1st date
I am a traditional Sigma Gentleman seeking a classic Beta Lady (Little Dragon Maiden, not Brunhilda)* preferably 18-25 years old.
1. Can you prioritize being a homemaker who loves family and kids over being a career woman?
2. Can you be submissive?
3. Can you be respectful?
4. Can you be humble?
5. Can you be feminine, not masculine, and keep up your appearance?
6. Can you turn a house into a home, attempt to mimic restaurant quality dishes at home, and clean so I have reasons to come home? "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach." Be my lady and mother to our kids. Bring me peace and quiet, not dramas, chaos, and stress. Do not bring shame and embarrassments to yourself, me, the families, and possibly our future kids. Most importantly, do not withhold intimacy to attempt to control me.
You must say yes to all six questions.

🍋 “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”
This English phrase is about taking the lemons life gives you and making something positive or desirable out of them.
For example:
😖 Your mate leaves you unexpectedly. That is an unpleasant sour lemon.
😍 You decide to turn the situation into lemonade. You find a new mate who is far more wonderful than the one before. You made lemonade and turned the situation into something positive and desirable.
This is a great philosophy that I have used in my life.
⛈ It was especially useful when there was a sudden job and income loss. I remember one specific time when suddenly all three income sources disappeared in the same month! There was NO money coming in.
🌈 However, I used this quote. I decided that this was an opportunity to create a better situation; a new era in our life. We made it through that situation successfully and did indeed get a better life.

3 things I believe with all my excitable heart:
1. We ALL have stories worth telling.
2. We can all learn to write those stories so well people eat ‘em up and come back for more.
3. Have the courage to share chunks of who you are. PEOPLE ARE EXCITED TO HEAR FROM YOU.
It’s tempting to believe that, because our own lives are normal and everyday to us, that they will be normal and everyday to everyone else, too.
This is not accurate.
We’re all kind of weird.
Think about it: your neighbours who obsessively wash all their vehicles every. single. Sunday. For me, that’s weird. Absolutely not will I be doing that.
(Yes, I am a terrible vehicle owner, much to my car-nut dad’s distress.)
Me, who accidentally has three pet TinySheep.
(Long story, which started with a wonky lamb called Eric. Which I bet you now want to know more about. See??)
That dude whose shopping on the conveyor belt looks like the mad dinner party of a three-year-old, a stoner, a box-wine connoisseur, and your great aunt Betty who is obsessed with pre-cooked roast potatoes and parma violets.
(There’s a story there for sure.)
That encounter you had with a stranger on the Tube last week, that you can’t stop thinking about.
(I’d like to know why.)
EVERYTHING IS INTERESTING. The secret is in the telling.
And anyone can learn how to do that.
Anyone.
Would you like to?
Over a weekend in the countryside?
At a writing retreat in which we’ll unearth buried treasure?

Sometimes things break.
Sometimes it may feel like we’re breaking.
It might seem like all that we have worked so hard to organize, control, and make sense of, is pouring out.
Like each grain of salt pouring from this broken timepiece, it piles up and overwhelm can create what seems like an unsortable situation.
What if that breaking is actually breaking out of ideas or beliefs about ourselves that have unknowingly imprisoned us?
What if the pouring out is really a cleansing over of potential we can now see from a different perspective, not constrained by glasshouse we constructed?
You might find new ways to use that salt, maybe no longer as a marker of time, but as a season to enhance flavor in a comfort food you forgot brought nourishment to your soul.
Reimagining what can be from what is no longer is slow work that engages our heart, mind and soul.
And you don’t have to do it solo.

🔍 Remember Goldilocks and the Three Bears? 🐻✨ Ever thought there's a cool lesson hidden in there? 🌟
Let's rewind to that story with a twist and discover the awesome Goldilocks Principle - a hidden gem of wisdom! 📖✨
Once upon a time, in a charming cottage nestled deep in the woods, lived a family of three bears – Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and little Baby Bear. Each bear had their own bowl of porridge to start the day. One morning, while the bears went for a stroll, a curious golden-haired girl named Goldilocks wandered into their cozy home.
Spotting the bowls of porridge on the table, Goldilocks couldn't resist tasting each one. The first bowl was too hot, causing her to scowl. The next was too cold, leaving her unsatisfied. But then, ah, the third bowl was just right – the perfect temperature that warmed her heart and delighted her taste buds.
Now, let's bring this enchanting tale to our lives! The Goldilocks Principle reminds us to seek that "just right" balance in everything we do. Whether it's workloads, relationships, or decision-making, avoiding extremes can lead us to a harmonious sweet spot. Embrace the magic of balance, and like Goldilocks, discover a world where everything feels just perfect! 🌟✨
