So many of us operate in our world on autopilot. It is as if we were following a script written by someone else, and like good little actors and actresses, we play our parts. About 20 years ago several things happened in my life that made me "walk off stage" and begin to write my own script. One of my core beliefs is that every one of us was born with a unique purpose and gift to share with the world. Much of the anxiety and need for security we see today, in my opinion, stems from people being fed up with the scripts they've been given because it hasn't fared well for them. They know at a deeper level that there is something more they were meant to contribute, experience, and be a part of. When we flip the script and operate from our true purpose, gifts, and values, we live and show up in the world as better, more authentic versions of ourselves. And isn't the world starving for true authenticity--connections? So my advice to you today: if you are operating robotically around your work and business, flip the script and spend some time answering the three questions I ask in this video. There is a better way to show up in the world that actually fuels you--instead of drains you.
