Neurocosmetics are skincare products that target the connection between the brain and skin. They contain active ingredients that interact with nerve endings in the dermis, potentially influencing mood and skin health by reducing stress and improving emotional well-being. I stumbled across this insightful piece of research around #neurocosmetics and it captures the body’s connection to life perfectly. “Skin and Brain: A Psychobiological Concept The skin, a wonderful and complex organ, manages the relationships between us and the outside world. It provides information that allows us to analyze, examine, and monitor its status—to understand and know it. The skin can appear as a canvas on which a large part of our interior world is painted: it is a dynamic structure, in continuous transformation, that expresses subjective psychological contents through which emotions take shape” Skin care can be so much more than surface level- it can with the right approach, the right formulations and the right mindset- be life changing! #insight #skincare #beautyindustry https://lnkd.in/eAg2HxaQ
