That's #right— #Florida 👀! During #festivals like this, most #Gig #Workers will get a lot of bang for the buck - especially with #rideshare and #delivery #services! Advent Alpha (Gig Worker Services) is about embracing #diversity and #inclusion with open hearts and treating everyone with the #respect they #truly #deserve—with no #sponsorships or funds needed to do so ❤️🔥 because of our actions. As we extend our #support to the #official #start of US #Pride festivals, we're reaching out for input: We're one tune away from completing our update to the #LGBTQ / #LGBTQIA+ #GigWorker #ride-#share and #delivery #services #independentcontractors playlist... 🥵 At the end of the day, our intent is to support #diversity and #inclusion while also throwing in some additional elevated #energies to audibly help anyone #manage through #qualityoflife challenges they may be encountering or just looking for something to put some pep in a routine. Kicking off today in Melbourne is the Midsumma Festival, a vibrant celebration of LGBTQIA+ arts and culture. It reminds us that inclusion is more than a policy—it’s about creating environments where diverse identities are celebrated. As a DEI consultant, I’ve seen how cultural events like Midsumma provide a platform for people to express themselves authentically. But we need to extend this celebration into daily workplace practices. For instance, we worked with a client recently and one of the actions was to implement pronoun options on email signatures, a simple but impactful way to show allyship. In the wrong organisation this could be seen as tokenism. In one that is seeking to create a space for inclusion that sees and hears from its people it can be a powerful indicator of a safe place to be.
