What Owning Manhattan on Netflix taught me: 1) Attitude and behaviour towards others is above skill and experience 2) You’re not selling a product, you’re selling trust 3) If you commit, you deliver. No excuses, only solutions 4) There is no limit as to how you can market a product - Jade on that music video idea for the Midtown East commercial building is *chefs kiss* 5) #socialmedia is a powerful tool to communicate product benefits and this power move unlocks the potential of reach and engagement.. even in real estate This is such an important, pivotal and riveting series. I would definitely watch it again and recommend it 100x. I learned a lot from all the SERHANT. agents, especially from the big blue badass boss Ryan. If you haven’t yet, this is a must-see masterpiece. The drama, the lessons, the techniques to sell and market a product are all here. Just the right informative entertainment for ya 😉

We talk a lot about the art + science of storytelling in our conversations with our clients. And talking is always great, of course. There's also something to be said about pudding. Yes, pudding. As in the "proof is in the pudding". Sharing with one of our Netflix Series projects - THE ROMANTICS. A global storytelling success. https://lnkd.in/drrbNPZ4

📣 📽 Brands are the new Hollywood 🎬 📣 This is what we say all over our website and it's the core belief that led to us launching GloMotion Studios. Starbucks are a recent addition to the ranks of brands investing in their own production studios. Why? Because they understand that storytelling and entertainment forge the strongest, most lasting connections with audiences. This isn’t a new concept, though. Soap operas were initially produced for radio in the 30s by soap brands looking to reach and entertain their key demographic: housewives/ husbands. Has the industry come full circle? And is the future of Hollywood brand funded? Either way, the lines between advertising and entertainment will continue to blur, creating a host of new possibilities.

Liquid Death are taking an entertainment-first strategy to a new level. They're launching a TV show. The news came out a few weeks ago, and I'm surprised I haven't seen much talk about it yet. Maybe people think it's parody. It's definitely not. It's the latest example of a growing trend in branded entertainment. It used to be that the only way for brands to enter TV or film was through product placement. Brands like Calm, Nike and now Liquid Death have changed that. In fact, branded entertainment even has its own category at Sundance Film Festival. As it becomes harder to reach customers conventionally, branded entertainment earns mental availability instead. We yearn for even 10-second views through rates. How about 30 minutes? I've written a lot about how Liquid Death have built their team to make ideas like this commonplace. Founder Mike Cessario actually used to work on promos for Netflix, so this feels full circle. What's even better is that this big bold move started as a small bet. First, with the creation of the Thirst Murderer character, then with small flip book style cartoons posted as Instagram Carousels (I posted one of my faves in the comments). Not everyone can be Liquid Death but everyone can adopt the framework they use to earn Share of Voice. #entertainment #marketing

Communications Manager 🔶 Open to Interim & Permanent Roles 🔶 Simplifying Complexity 🔶 Empathy & Intuition Backed by Data 🔶 Internal Comms, Transformation, Change, Engagement & Storytelling
⭐ We've all observed the highs and lows of fame by following the journeys of our favorite entertainers. But have you ever thought about the role intuition plays in navigating those twists and turns? Allow me to introduce Robbie Williams, the British pop sensation whose career journey offers a valuable lesson in placing trust in our instincts. From soaring successes to unexpected setbacks, Robbie's reliance on intuition was a defining factor. Picture having the world at your feet and making a bold move, only for it to backfire. That's exactly what happened when 'Rudebox' hit the airwaves — a creative pivot that didn't resonate with fans. In his Netflix documentary, Robbie confessed that it clouded his intuitive compass for several years. We've all been there, haven't we? Ignoring that inner voice for various reasons. For Robbie, it was external pressures and information overload. His life was a whirlwind, drowning out the very intuition that guided him to stardom. But here's the takeaway: setbacks are part of the journey. Doubt might sneak in, but it doesn't have to linger. Robbie's story teaches us to reclaim that intuition, even after a stumble. It's about rising above the noise, rediscovering that inner compass, and starting again. I've looked at the barriers to intuition, exploring how we sometimes create obstacles for ourselves. Let's learn from Robbie's resilience, trust our instincts, and forge ahead even when doubt creeps in. Let's keep backing ourselves because, when we do, others will cheer us on, too! 📽️ Catch a glimpse of Robbie's introspective journey in the Netflix trailer. It's a reminder that, even in the limelight, we're all learning to tune into our instincts. https://lnkd.in/dRaXcrUP 🔮 Read more about the Six Barriers to Intuition here: https://lnkd.in/dmimQJEd How do you listen to your intuition in amongst the chaos? #intuition #decisionmaking #entertainment

NETFLIX IS MORE ENTERTAINING... As an artist, you have to answer the question in your audience's mind: Why should I care about your performance? Aka, what's in it for me? Otherwise, they were better off watching Netflix than your performance. #CorporateEvents #EventPlanners #EventEntertainment
