Today, EuropaBio - the European Association for Bioindustries along with other industry associations of the HTA Stakeholder Network, published a joint industry statement addressing the EU HTA Joint Clinical Assessment Implementing Act.   📢 EuropaBio reemphasises the potential risks to #patientaccess of health #biotech innovation and reinforces concerns over the workability of the proposed draft rules, that risk creating an unworkable framework for Joint Clinical Assessments. The draft rules risk duplication of work, delays and potential wasted resources. 📢 The Access to Medicine Index 2024 has just been released🎉 🧪Pharmaceutical innovations can save lives, but access is not guaranteed for all, especially in low- and middle-income countries🌍. 📄#ATMI24 evaluates 20 leading pharmaceutical companies on their efforts to expand access to their products in LMICs. Did you know that tools like Orange play a key role in pharmaceutical research and innovation? 💊 🔬 🍊 In our recent blog, Tine Porenta from Novartis, a global leader in innovative medicines, discusses the Partial Least Squares method (PLS), and how it can be implemented in Orange. The method is particularly valuable in the pharmaceutical industry, since the latter often deals with large, complex datasets involving numerous variables and factors. PLS simplifies interpretation and analysis by reducing dimensionality and extracting key information. 🔝 The PLS method is also effective in addressing multicollinearity (high correlation of more than two variables), a common issue in pharmaceutical datasets. Additionally, it is widely used in pharmaceutical research for modeling and prediction.
