⚽ In Vietnam, the UEFA Euro 2024 games were broadcasted late at night. Because of the late night watching, unhealthy eating habits,… stomach pains easily arised. How could Phosphalugel - a leading brand for stomach pain relief - warn people while staying close to the highly anticipated football event? 🟨 Well, we hijacked Euro's yellow cards and turned them into Phosphalugel Warning Cards. Whenever a yellow card popped up in a match, our stomach pain warning was instantly pushed as an ad on mobile. Thanks to our Phosphalugel Yellow Warning Cards, we taught football fans how to enjoy a stomach pain-free Euro 2024. #happinessmatters #PVàng #GiảmAxitDạDày #VữngDạCùngEuro

A win by your favourite football team can be good for your metaphorical heart. But it does little for physical heart health. Early, tragic death from heart disease can happen to anyone. 😢 𝐈𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐭 My German husband who will be following Euro football on a rather expensive cable subscription had a heart attack at age 42, when our son was 5 and my daughter a 32-week unborn. Three arteries clogged, one 100%, but he had no heart muscle damage. His is a miracle. My military ex-boss in MINDEF, later a fellow CEO in a corporate group, died while cycling. Always fit as a fiddle, and out exercising at 6am. Just borderline cholesterol. He was only 53. Even while I'm here in the US at the Stanford Executive Program, a fellow participant shared with us his heart attack suffered while building a start-up. In the British Heart Foundation campaign, some were younger by decades. 👋𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 - 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 Insurance doesn't prevent heart disease deaths - and you don't want a return on insurance. But it does help with recuperation costs if you do NOT die, and with your dependents if you have any if you do. The point is ☝️: get insurance out of the way as early as possible, so that you can take the really important steps to prevent that heart attack: check-ups and meds. Because critical illness insurance and life insurance for death cover are not just about heart disease, but a broader range of risks. Just that they cannot be bought as cheaply - if at all - once you have a heart issue or another health problem. ⭐ 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 - 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 Then-PM Lee said at his final May Day rally last month that our public healthcare system will ensure all get treatment. He used the example that if a stent (balloon that opens up artery for blood flow) was needed for a heart attack patient, even one of low income would get it. But better not to even get there in the first place? So take those steps MoneyOwl has recommended. #heartattack #financialplanning #insurance #criticalillness #healthcheck

Hydration is key to optimum performance The France vs Poland match at Euro 2024, being played in Dortmund, saw temperatures hitting a reported 28 degrees. With around 25 minutes of the game played, the referee took the decision to stop for a 2-minute drinks break. The same happened in the Netherlands vs Austria clash in Berlin, where the referee halted play in the 34th minute of the game. A good call by the ref on both accounts, I think we would all agree. The thing is, under UEFA rules, ‘cooling breaks’ aren’t permitted until the temperature reaches 32 degrees. At this point, the ref can stop play to allow players to take on fluids for up to 90 seconds. These breaks are permitted 25 minutes into each half of the game. As with all rules, there have to be exceptions, and I can hardly imagine the ref carrying around a thermometer to check its 34 degrees, and not 33! Clearly the ref took the players well-being into account when calling ‘time out’ at 27 or 28 degrees. The referee is in charge of the game, and must take account of the circumstances within which the game is being played. I don’t think anyone in UEFA would quibble about a couple of degrees, so most definitely a good call by the ref. As for the players, well I’m certain they welcomed the opportunity to rehydrate, and ensure there are delivery optimum performance. 📸 Reuters

CAS OG 24/04 Israel Football Association & Mr. Roy Revivo v. FIFA 📌 Key Facts: • Roy Revivo received a 2-match suspension from UEFA for a red card in March 2024 • FIFA enforced the suspension for the Olympic Football Tournament (OFT) • Israel FA protested Revivo's ineligibility on July 22, 2024 • FIFA Disciplinary Committee declared the protest inadmissible on July 22, 2024 • Israel FA and Revivo appealed to CAS Ad Hoc Division on July 23, 2024 ⚖️ Main Issues: 1. CAS jurisdiction despite non-exhaustion of internal FIFA remedies 2. Admissibility of the late protest under OFT regulations 3. FIFA's authority to enforce UEFA's suspension in the Olympics 🏛️ Decision: • CAS accepted jurisdiction due to urgency • Panel upheld FIFA's decision that the protest was inadmissible • CAS ruled it cannot interpret UEFA's decision or regulations • Appeal dismissed; Revivo remains ineligible for first two OFT matches 💡 Key Takeaways: 1. Urgency can override the need to exhaust internal remedies 2. Strict adherence to protest deadlines in tournament regulations 3. FIFA can enforce other confederations' sanctions in its tournaments 4. Challenges to confederation decisions should be addressed to the relevant confederation, not FIFA #SportsLaw #CAS #OlympicGames #FIFA #UEFA #FootballLaw #AthleteRights #DisputeResolution #SportsArbitration #OlympicFootball
