This week, I found solace in painting. Here are 3 ways I wouldn't recommend to find happiness through art: 1. Painting for perfection. It puts unnecessary pressure on creativity. 2. Comparing your work to others. It hampers your unique expression and joy. 3. Avoiding creativity due to lack of skills. Art is about expression, not expertise. This is how I'd do it instead: 1. Paint freely and embrace flaws. They make your art unique. 2. Focus on personal growth. Every stroke improves your skills. 3. Enjoy the process. Art is more about the journey than the outcome.
