Did you hear about the FTC's new 'click to cancel' regulation they announced this week? A summary: 👉🏼 Companies have to make subscription sign-ups and cancellations equally easy 👉🏼 Retailers have to get consent from customers before subscription renewals 👉🏼 Retailers have to get consent from customers before converting a free trial to a paid membership 👉🏼 Customers can cancel a subscription with a click rather than being force to talk with a chatbot or call a customer service agent What do you think of this new regulation? Integration platforms are necessary for success in any organization's production/solution/service journey. I am always amazed at how many leaders want to build a "MOAT" to protect the business and ignore or run away from the opportunity to build an ecosystem driving overall growth. As we continue to produce and consume more data, integrating and analyzing our data with our customers and partners is the foundation of the way forward. Without it, you can only use your data and face an increasingly smaller addressable market.
