#LeaveNoOneBehind #SDGpromise2030 I can say it was a #groundbreaking event where the officials of Ministry of Rural Development and corporate leaders came together to take the first step towards their #partnership in transforming #livelihoods for #rural #women. The Ministry has achieved the unthinkable in organizing 100 million rural women into 10 million Self Help Groups (SHGs), ensuring their #financialinclusion, and establishing institutional linkages. #Corporates are not too far behind in their impact - the #CSR spend on related themes has been over 20%, and they bring the most innovative #market-led approaches This event, #hosted by Grant Thornton Bharat LLP and supported by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation highlighted the powerful synergy of this partnership. Both ministry officials and corporate partners expressed immense excitement about collaborating and leveraging each other’s strengths. Corporates recognized the significant #scale and #convergence benefits of working with Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY - NRLM), while NRLM stands to gain from the #private sector’s efficiency and market-driven strategies.
