Property tax exemptions, like the homestead exemption, provide valuable reductions in a property's assessed value for eligible owners. These savings are based on specific qualifications, such as being a homeowner. Additional exemptions are available for individuals such as widows or widowers, low-income seniors, veterans, first responders, deployed military personnel, and others. To take advantage of these benefits, you must apply by March 1 each year. https://buff.ly/3RfmnRc #WeValueOurCommunity #PropertyTaxExemptions #HomesteadExemption

Before we rolled the cameras… Anthony Reanue was advocating for our veterans. When listing agents ask why a veteran needs closing costs or credits, He explained: ‘We don’t get paid much. As a Navy chief, I know the situation firsthand.’ He ensures agents understand our veterans’ needs, and that their offers are just as strong as any other. Communication is key! 🇺🇸💪 #AdvocatingForVeterans #BehindTheScenes #RealEstate #VeteranSupport

Veterans with mobility issues through being wounded, injured, illness or age, deserve to be able to travel with dignity, not be manhandked on and off aircraft like a sack of potatoes, risking injury, or death. They deserve to know their wheelchairs will not be damaged during a flight or during loading and unloading. United Airlines had the opportunity to have its replacement fleet accessible but chose not do. Janet do not wait for legislation that could force your airline to be accessible but show some humanity and humility to not only disabled veterans but all mobility disabled people, first by starting discussions with your aircraft manufacturers to make accessibility a priority. https://chng.it/XLVWt2Ls5y #unitedairlines #health #wellbeing #veterans #MemorialDay #AccessibleTravel #Wheelchairs #Disability #Transportation #aviation #AccessibleTourism #PVA #aircraft #accessibility #military #veteransaffairs
This Memorial Day, we remember those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. And to the many veterans, family members and friends of the military who have been impacted by loss and have reason to hold this day close to the heart, including our own United community members, we honor you.

**Preserving the Integrity of Veteran-Owned Businesses and Honoring Our Homefront Heroes** The rise of businesses claiming to be "veteran-owned" calls for reflection on what it means to serve. Veterans dedicate themselves to protecting the U.S., often at great personal risk. A veteran-owned business should reflect the values shaped by military service, not be used as a marketing tool by those without that experience. While we honor veterans, it’s also important to recognize the critical role of those who serve in other capacities. Emergency personnel—police, firefighters, paramedics—and the everyday workers who keep America running—teachers, engineers, and utility workers—are vital in maintaining the nation’s stability while soldiers are abroad. These unsung heroes ensure that veterans return to a thriving, secure society. Both veterans and the men and women who support the country at home deserve our respect for their service and sacrifices. **#VeteranOwned #Integrity #EmergencyServices #CommunitySupport**

Interesting to read.
This election is historic for yet another reason: it’s the first time two GWOT veterans - both enlisted, to boot - have been on a presidential ticket running against each other. They couldn’t be more opposite, politically speaking, but my hope is Senator Vance and Governor Walz create a precedent of sticking to substantive differences rather than attacking each other’s military service. With <1% of the U.S. population serving in our Armed Forces in a given year and ~5% of the total population being veterans, service should be commended.
