Good morning, good afternoon, everybody. Today, I want to share my opinion and experience with one of the most famous video game franchises: God of War! Personally, it is my favorite franchise of all time. It's a classic. A game about well-known gods and an unknown one who kills every single one of them if he wants to. The story of this game is unbelievably well-written, and the world is boundless. The graphics have always been revolutionary. The gameplay was unique and not complicated. When you play the game, you feel like a god of war, I mean, The God of War, Kratos. Everything is straightforward; you know what to do. The puzzles are not that hard because you are a god. Killing the biggest bosses could be a little challenging; however, it's easy to kill them, BECAAUUUSE, you are the god of war. You are both the son and murderer of ZEUS, the god of all gods. And even after that, you kill Odin, the father of all gods. Like, you do not need to loot too much to upgrade your character. You have many checkpoints so you do not have to repeat a mission from the start. The traveling system makes it easier to travel between the realms. Your weapons can be used in different ways, and you have many abilities to use based on your preference. All in all, this franchise is one of the most important in video game history! #godofwar #sony #videogame

New Post: A ‘Paranormal Activity’ horror game is in the works - https://lnkd.in/giDN_WJi - Horror franchise Paranormal Activity has a video game on the way, it has been announced. READ MORE: ‘Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’ review: this first-class remake will put you on cloud nine While the game is currently slated for a 2026 release and information on the game is fairly scarce, it has been confirmed that it will feature a advanced “haunt system” that dynamically changes how scary the game is based on what they do. Other than that, it’s unclear exactly what form the game will take, though a reveal teaser simply titled “Paranormal Activity: Found Footage” seems to indicate that the game will take a found footage approach. The title will be published by DreadXP, and is being developed by Darkstone Digital. “We are thrilled to work with Paramount Game Studios and to have the opportunity to bring the world of Paranormal Activity to gamers everywhere. The films are steeped in rich lore and creative scares, and under the stewardship of creative director Brian Clarke, DreadXp’s Paranormal Activity video game will honor those core tenets and offer horror fans one of our most terrifying games yet,” Epic Pictures CEO and DreadXP producer Patrick Ewald said in a statement. This is only the second game in the Paranormal Activity franchise, with the previous, Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul, releasing in 2017. That was initially a VR exclusive title, though later became available to play through more traditional means. “The success of the Paranormal Activity franchise epitomizes the power and reach of the horror genre. If you thought The Mortuary Assistant was scary, we’re taking what we learned during the development of that title and cranking it up with a more reactive and horrifying haunting system,” DreadXP co-director and creative director Brian Clarke stated in a press release. In other gaming news, Electronic Arts has cancelled an unannounced Star Wars game after laying off 5% of its workforce. New Post: ‘Magic: the Gathering’ meets ‘RuneScape’ in this deck-building battle royale - https://lnkd.in/gr_-9zKP - Like any card or board game, it’s hard to describe Inferni: Hope & Fear without playing it, but once you have, you understand it instantly. Created by Village Studio, helmed by developers who worked on RuneScape, Rust, and Angry Birds 2, Inferni looks like something thrown together during a game jam but it’s immensely satisfying to play and much more than the sum of its parts. READ MORE: Why the neon-bright gamer girl aesthetic is here to stay Unlike most card games, Inferni takes place in real time as up to four teams of two duke it out simultaneously. You draw cards from your deck, pick one from your hand, choose a target, and wait a few seconds while you cast the spell. Rather than effects instantly taking hold, attacks appear in the middle of the battlefield as orbs that fly menacingly toward their victim. This gives all players a chance to react and creates a living, evolving board. Some cards can interact with already cast spells, weakening them, speeding them up, reflecting them, or increasing their damage. Players can also cast defensive spells on themselves to block incoming damage or bounce it back to the original caster. During our hands-on, there’s real fear when you realise three spells are going to hit you at the same time but your reflection card isn’t going to cast in time. ‘Inferni’ Credit: Village Studio The real-time combat creates a different type of strategy from what you normally experience in turn-based card games. When you see six spheres all floating toward you and you’ve got no defensive cards in your hand, the sense of panic and dread is overwhelming. Fortunately, Inferni includes a draft feature that pauses the action and gives you some much-needed cards. Like a Magic: the Gathering draft in your local card shop, packs are opened and passed around for all players. You choose one and pass the rest on. This not only gives you the chance to fill your hand with cards not available in your deck, but it gives you information about the actions your opponents are likely to take next. Before the match, you can choose from one of five characters. They each embody a different style of play, from glass cannons to control to healers to the aptly named Leather Man, a guy in a gimp suit whose spells revolve around dealing self-inflicted damage. Each gives you access to a different deck, and you need to rely on the draft system to ensure you can get yourself out of a tough spot that your base deck isn’t prepared for. ‘Inferni’ Credit: Village Studio As well as targeting opponents, you can use your cards on yourself and teammates – not just healing cards, either. Each character starts with two charms, passive bonuses that can give you more damage, a self-revive, and more. You can have up to four du
