🚀🚀🚀 Feature release: pricing models! 🚀🚀🚀 Hardware companies offer solutions with different variations, especially in pricing. These variations have downstream impacts on billing and accounting — automating those differences makes life easier for finance, operations, and customer success. Some fun examples: 🚜 A commercial lawn mower is offered as an outright purchase (CapEx) or as a subscription model (hardware-as-a-service). Each has a different name, rate, billing triggers, and rev rec rules. 📷 A monitoring camera is offered at two different pricing tiers (”Basic” and “Advanced”), depending how the individual camera is configured. Each has a different price, with the same billing and accounting triggers. 🤖 A robotic arm is offered on a lease-plus package (hardware+software+services) and a hardware-as-a-service package (with an hourly rate). One requires a multi-line invoice, the other needs single-line metrics-based billing. The accounting rules are different. Teams across a hardware-as-a-service (HaaS) business can streamline workflows, save time, and minimize errors using Hardfin pricing models. With simple configurations, downstream actions flow automatically. Pricing models also provide greater reporting insight into financial health and business operations. #hardware #hardwareasaservice #haas #deviceasaservice #daas #machineasaservice #maas #equipmentasaservice #eaas #robotsasaservice #raas #servitization #managedservices #hardwarefinancialoperations #pricing #pricingmodels #sales #finance #accounting #operations
