This milestone initiative reflects Zepto's commitment to fostering inclusivity and providing growth opportunities for women in the workforce. At the Pink Store, every order placed in the Madambakkam region is picked and packed by an all-women team, led by the inspiring Vinitha, who has set an example of dedication and determination. Vinitha’s journey with Zepto began in September 2023, when she joined as a delivery partner. Through consistent effort and hard work, she climbed the ranks to become the Store Manager, showcasing Zepto’s culture of recognizing talent and offering opportunities for professional growth. “Ever looked at an ad and thought, ‘That’s just not me’? Or felt like your story was missing from the picture?” At EKAM 2024, Sampurna Rakshit delivered a heartfelt presentation on how Mia by Tanishq is redefining what inclusivity means in jewelry. She reflected on how consumers deserve to see themselves, every age, background, and community, represented in the brands they love. “It’s a simple truth,” she shared, “our customers are not a homogeneous group. A 9000 Cr worth company promoting confidence and empowerment, is it just a gimmick? Hero MotoCorp partnered with Alia Bhatt to showcase a big message boldly. In a world that is often doubtful of women riders, Hero MotoCorp is out to question these norms and flip them. They are here to encourage women to embrace the ‘Hero’ spirit. Hero gave us two powerful ad films and it featured Alia Bhatt playing a unique dual role for the first time! She represents both, the society’s mindset towards women riders, while also playing the part of a confident Hero rider. The message was to celebrate all the resilient women who don’t shy away from challenges, and would never say ‘no’ to any opportunity even if it’s unconventional. They used a gripping storyline to addresses some of the concerns women face today, while encouraging them to not settle. In doing so, the films also showcase the Hero Pleasure as an effective proposition for riders with its new features focused on safety and convenience. I don’t believe it is a gimmick.
