USA (like Canada) know looting happens, and, they wait to put on Curfew AFTER looting has taken place???!!! Are the authorities allowing for looting from fear of organized crime, or, officers themselves are involved? Never mind a fire, even when there is a war and people leave their homes, organized crime organizations quickly despatch their underlings to that country/region. I saw on TV, a young man on a bicycle carrying 3 framed pieces of art, with another cyclist behind him, and an irate newsman, confronting them. No sooner any disaster where homeowners have to leave, or businesses have to evacuate there must be a curfew around several yards to create a perimeter of protection of property. If authorizing curfew takes time, then place guards, home owner volunteers (verified), police, home owners' hired security guards, other policing officers, so that fire fighters can do their work in peace and more effectively as well. SET THE MO IN PLACE - this is a frequent disastrous, occurrence!

Broadly defined, human trafficking is the forceful exploitation of a person. • It was estimated that as of 2024, there were nearly 27 million victims of human trafficking globally. • It is the second most lucrative illicit crime in the world with estimated profits of USD 236 billion annually. • As human trafficking occurs everywhere and is widespread there is an urgent need to create awareness about the real definition of human trafficking. • Human trafficking remains a crime with a significant gender dimension, as many victims are women and girls, particularly exposed to physical and sexual violence, including but not limited to homicide and torture, psychological abuse, poor working and living conditions, often amounting to a form of modern-day slavery. Human Trafficking may involve many other crimes such as: • Labour Trafficking/Slavery Exploitation • Trafficking specifically for sexual exploitation/pornography • Trafficking of children for any of the above as well as forced marriage • Organ Trafficking Let's put a stop to modern slavery. #SoroptimistsUpliftHER
