Yes!! We had the first #RevOps meet up in Amsterdam! We had an insightful roundtable discussion (without a table). With a diverse audience from startups to enterprise. Some key highlights for the peer-to-peer event: 1. Revenue Operations trends - All see benefits with holistic view on revenue teams - Consolidating MktOps, SalesOps, & CsOps in RevOps - RevOps still very unknown outside our bubble 2. Aligning Revenue teams with product - Independent of size a struggle - When it works all benefits What helps: - call recordings to provide feedback to Product - commercially focused head of Product 3. Leaner tech stack - Consolidating tech stack across all company sizes - SalesOS (Apollo, Gong, HS, etc) preferences - Larger companies build rather in-house than buy tools - BI, Data Warehouse, data lake set up popular Above all, it was refreshing to meet peers in person! Respect to Andrea Balducci and Victor De Coster who made it all the way from Belgium 🇧🇪. Thanks also to Martina, Cristina, and the Fiberplane team for hosting! Overall, this was a great success and we looking forward to the next meet up in 6-8 weeks!
Haris Odobasic, loved the meetup, and the format 😍 Agree, RevOps needs more recognition. Also, we need to meet more to share our learnings. As internally, it's more challenging to evangelize and make our role impact crystal clear. And yeah, AI can be our best friend in tech stack simplification. Can't wait for the next gathering... in Brussels? 😁
Such a cool initiative! How can I join the next one? :D
Thanks guys for making this happen! Great to connect with all! Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks for organizing Zhenya & Haris! I believe there is not enough awareness around what we do. And people who are aware/in the field don't have a lot of people to share best practices and challenges with. That might be the reason why Andrea Balducci and me where representing BXL & Ghent in Amsterdam ;-) Will be there on the next one too!
Interesting to hear that Revops is still relatively unknown outside of the practice. We face that challenge in New Zealand but I'd have imagined it'd be part of the furniture in Europe by now. Makes me feel a little bit better.
Thank you hosting Haris Odobasic a really interesting session with a lot of good deep-dives on topics.
That's awesome. Hopefully, we can make it next time and join you as well. Amsterdam has such a great tech scene.
It’s a great initiative guys! Haris Odobasic , Andrea Balducci and Victor De Coster , I’m sure you had a very powerful discussion.
I build GTM motions that work | Let's grab coffee ☕️ | RevOps at STYTCH
