Hard times for business? Stop dunking your teabags…Buy a new ‘teapot’ 🫖 Yesterday I went out and bought a splendid new teapot. It’s a beauty, isn’t it! Or, I confess, I bought ‘a’ teapot. I didn’t replace the old one when it broke. Over the years I’ve got into the habit of putting my teabag straight into a mug, dunking it and then discarding it. Sacrilege! I suppose that there’s nothing wrong with this little routine. It works. It makes the tea perfectly well. But I’m wasting the possibility of another few cups of the finest Yorkshire Tea. ☕️ Anyway, what does a teapot have to do with your business, whether you run a restaurant, pub or bar or a chain of convenience stores? In payment processing terms, a lot of businesses have old machines because they ‘do the job’. They take the card payments. That’s it. So they go on doing what they’ve always done. Dunking the teabags. But there are hidden costs of keeping the old system, when there are tangible and intangible savings with the Dojo machine, that I promote. Things like… 🫖 Economic printing on demand that saves 50% plus of their paper roll usage. 🫖 Next day settlement, 7 days a week speeds cash flow, means the money can be put to good use for their business, keeping the wheels in motion. 🫖Easy 2-click PCI means no more time and money spent on completing questionnaires or running network scans. 🫖No more paying the interchange surcharges on top of the standard fees if it applies to your customer’ credit card. An uncontrolled cost for businesses. 🫖No ‘can’t take payments because the card machine’s not working’. Remote assist gets it back online in a jiffy or a replacement’s sent next day. In the meantime they can use an iPhone as an extra card machine at no extra cost. 🫖EPOS integration and new ‘Pocket’ terminals mean the order can be taken at the table and paid for there and then, so customers can leave when they can finish and more customers can be served. Teapots come in all shapes and sizes. But when we get talking, I’ll be sure to save a few teabags for your business and brew up some new customers too. Book a consultation today, just DM me or call. I’ll bring the biscuits. 🍪 #restaurant #pub #bar #retail #thecardmachinelady ©️
