A week has passed since the Salesforce World Tour Essentials in Copenhagen, and I'm still running high from the energy 🚀 🇩🇰 Here are my top takeaways and reflections:
1️⃣ GenAI is more than just a new technology. GenAI will provide a lot of quick wins but to realise its full potential and gain sustainable long-term value GenAI needs to be embraced as a transformation across the organization. Salesforce delivers innovation built into the core of the platform laying the foundation for transforming the business.
2️⃣ GenAI will have a big impact on the future customer expectations and values. 1) Customer expectations will continue to increase while 2) making it harder for businesses to build credibility, authenticity, and trust with their customers. 3) Differentiation will be driven by a business’ core product quality, service, values, and brand and 4) human involvement will be seen as a premium offering.
3️⃣ It’s clear that the quality of input data determines the quality of the output. Prioritizing robust data models and integrations and streamlining processes to ensure accuracy and availability will be a key focus.
4️⃣ We have a lot of tools in our toolbox, especially with the continuous flow of technological advancements. The biggest value is achieved when new technology is carefully and strategically assessed and adopted, not just seen as a magic bullet to all our challenges.
