When other Nigerians understand why the military restricts and regiments movement and life of soldiers respectively, they will encourage military personnel to abide by military rules rather than luring them to disobey the rules. Other persons to which military law applies directly or indirectly include families of the military personnel, NDA cadets, Depot recruits, and the boys in the Nigerian Military School.
