Know it all or sincerely wrong? As professional sales men and women we come unhinged when a family member gives bad advice to one of our clients or prospects often contradicting information we've previously provided. I was cracking up when I read that Google was giving out some really bad advice or information recently when consumers were using its Ai feature. Google says it “made more than a dozen technical improvements” to its AI Overview system after some recommendation gems, like telling people to add one-eighth cup of glue to pizza sauce to keep toppings from sliding off. Also: This is too much fun, so here are some more Google AI flubs: Apparently former US President Andrew Johnson, who died in 1875, earned 14 college degrees between 1947 and 2012, and a backpack is equally as effective as a parachute when jumping out of a plane. When it comes to Reverse mortgages be careful to really understand the product, process, and benefits before jumping in. ‼️Another post on what I heard from HousingWire The Gathering this week. Not surprisingly, CEOs and innovators are talking about A.I. and automation. In almost each case, the goal was personalization and customization. This was true when talking about consumers and team members alike. 1). Technology and A.I. can make your people more powerful and effective. 🚀 Rocket Companies Varun Krishna sees A.I. tools as a super power for his team members. Using natural language A.I., Rocket gathers data on the how the customer searches and truly who the customer is. A level of personalization that makes anyone working with customers feel like they know them at the push of a button. This also means using A.I. and tech to predict & serve life events and important financial decisions. It also makes the company more efficient distinguishing casual customer intent versus deeper intent etc. ✔️Lower.com CEO Dan Snyder pointed to a similar super power. His comments were focused on the way his team works and works together. Leveraging technology is one way to show your team how you are investing in differentiation. Are these clowns for real? Anything AI-generated is flawed. You just have to look at Zillow's great success story in the real estate valuation process. They did such a great job, they had to divest all those properties they bought and tried sell, lost a ton of money, and had to get out of that business. The GSEs are relying heavily on AI and showing us appraisers the door in great haste. It's only a matter of time before the real estate sector of the economy tanks because of their reliance on artificial intelligence (on a side note, say that out loud- Artificial=fake, Intelligence=smartness) over what the appraiser's eyes can see and tell them. If you need proof of the effect Fake Smartness has on society, just look around at all the teenagers.
