If you're at all interested in supporting a debut author and preordering my debut thriller, now's your chance! Barnes & Noble is having a 25% off preorders sale, now through midnight. Preorders are incredibly important to debut authors, as it shows early interest in the book, and counts towards our first week sales numbers, which are also super important to the publisher. Not to brag, but it's a great book; early feedback has all been about how unputdownable the book is, how fast it reads, how twisty the mystery is. A great summer read, for both teens and adults. Book review of Yellow Tape by Alicia Ellis In this novel, the first in the Gray Girls Mysteries series, two half-sisters—an FBI agent and an IT specialist and former hacker—meet by chance in the horrific aftermath of their father's disappearance. Quill says: With its intricate relationships, dual narrative, hidden secrets, and cliffhangers, Yellow Tape by Alicia Ellis is an intelligently plotted mystery that soars above the level of extraordinary family dramas. 📖🔥Embers of Einar: White Binder by DG Farnsworth, Rodrigo Garcia Olza 📚 Book 14 🕯️ Part 3 🌉 📚Book 15 📖 Red Grimoire: Embers of Einar 🎹 Book 16 Black Vade Mecum ...even when we seem to believe we have some type of direct communication from a ghost, we can’t know for certain that we are, indeed, dealing with a spirit of the dead... ... and for an instant, I question whether Maria’s children, who I cannot easily classify, might be two apparitions in disguise, anomalies sent to rescue me somehow. “All these TV shows we see about ghost hunters…yet ghosts still stay elusive – like they might only be produced by the imagination, instead of allegedly entities that still live from a supernatural world. In most cases, I have discovered credible explanations for haunting occurrences. Many ghosts have turned out to be caused by someone experiencing a common waking dream. The ghost of a mysterious blurring picture photographed might simply be caused by its non glare glass reflecting a camera flash. These examples are just common illusions but I have found that so many ghostly experiences tend to have a psychological component. Memory might play a role in reporting a supernatural occurrence. The power of suggestion is a powerful force in many sightings I’ve investigated: one person’s excitement might influence someone else. We psychologists use the term contagion: a house, hotel or inn, lighthouse becomes thought of as haunted…word is spread about the idea of it being haunted, so more ghostly encounters are reported there. #sanfrancisco #actor #tella #ghosts #lighthouse #psychologicalhorror España 16📚RODRIGO GARCÍA OLZA NOVEL SERIES https://lnkd.in/eF-pZ6b #bookstagramespaña #witchesofinstagram #paranormal #supernatural #rodrigogarcíaolza #psychologicalhorror RODRIGO GARCÍA OLZA NOVEL SERIES Part I 🏰 ⛵Part 2 San Francisco🔥 Part 3 Embers of Einar https://lnkd.in/eHtXpe7 #tarot #spain #bookstagram #vampire #vampiresofinstagram #grimoire #barcelona #actor #scarab

House of Shadow and Bloom by Corinne M. Knight 3* Unless you love the ending of Hamlet, I would give this one a pass. This twisted sadistic, though well-written, adult, paranormal supernatural coming-of-age, dark, forbidden-interracial-love fantasy has demons, fae, families, a ghost, horror, magic, palace-intrigue, politics, rescues, a triangle, and violence, but there are better books available to fill an afternoon. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Confession time: For the past three years, I've been knee-deep in murder mysteries, and I'm loving every twisty, turny moment! 🕵️♂️ Call me the Sherlock of my bookshelf because if there's a crime to solve, you can bet I'm on the case! From Agatha Christie's classic whodunits to modern thrillers that keep me up past my bedtime, murder mysteries have become my literary obsession. But why the fascination with murder, you ask? Well, there's something undeniably thrilling about piecing together clues, unraveling secrets, and outsmarting the bad guys from the comfort of my reading nook. Move over, Hercule Poirot, there's a new detective in town! Sure, some may call it an unhealthy obsession with crime and mayhem, but I prefer to think of it as sharpening my deductive skills and keeping my brain on its toes. Plus, who doesn't love a good adrenaline rush between chapters? So, here's to another month of gripping plots, suspicious characters, and that satisfying "aha!" moment when the pieces of the puzzle finally click into place. And hey, while we're at it, drop your favorite murder mystery book in the comments below! Let's swap recommendations and uncover even more thrilling reads together! #reader #murdermystery #thriller #suspense #crimefiction #bookreviewer
