What better week to celebrate Employee Appreciation Week than a week dedicated to giving thanks? This week, we're reminded not just to count our blessings but also to celebrate the people who make HGI great. We kicked off the week with a happy hour featuring a Manhattan Bar served up by our in-house mixologist, Wade Morris, CSAM, followed up this morning by a pancake breakfast cooked up by our leadership team — a delicious way to fuel our day. As we look ahead to the holiday weekend, we couldn't be more thankful to our team here at HGI. #EmployeeAppreciation #Thanksgiving #HGI

Today is National Employee Appreciation Day! Don’t worry - you don’t have to rush out and start scooping up gifts. The best ways to show appreciation are free: ⭐ Get to know your employees on a personal level during one-on-one meetings. Ask them about their families, hobbies, and lives outside of work. ⭐ Connect with them on a shared interest. Do you both love fly fishing? Set aside time to talk about your favorite trips. ⭐ Ask them about their professional goals, and offer ways to help them achieve those goals. Remember, it’s about using the Platinum Rule here, not the Golden Rule. (For a quick refresher: The Platinum Rule says to treat others the way THEY want to be treated. The Golden Rule says to treat others the way YOU want to be treated. See the difference?) What is the best way you have found to show your employees appreciation? #EmployeeAppreciation #LeadershipStrategies #GTNCoach

"Businesses can’t thrive unless the communities they serve and the people they employ thrive as well." — Jamie Dimon As we gear up for Employee Appreciation Week, let’s take a moment to reflect on the dedication, hard work, and passion each of us brings to the table. This week is a special reminder to celebrate our collective efforts, but it’s important to remember that appreciation shouldn’t just be reserved for one week. Every day, we contribute to something greater, tackling challenges, achieving goals, and supporting one another. Let’s carry that spirit of gratitude forward, celebrating not just what we do, but who we are—today, tomorrow, and always. Together, we are the driving force behind this organization! #employeeappreciationweek #gratefulteam #celebrateemployees #employeerecognition #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #powerofappreciation

Today marks a significant day at the company I am working on an interim basis as a valued staff member leaves after 11 years of service. A heartfelt farewell lunch was organized, accompanied by touching speeches, to honor their contributions. Farewells are not just about appreciation; they highlight the value of teamwork and camaraderie within an organization. Neglecting such moments can impact staff morale and engagement levels. Recognizing and appreciating employees not only boosts morale but also encourages them to excel beyond expectations. #Appreciation #Teamwork #EmployeeEngagement

Words like “Thank you for your hard work and dedication” can make someone feel valued and inspired. Expressing gratitude at work doesn’t have to be complicated, but it does need to feel authentic. And thanking someone should not be done once a year or only during Employee Appreciation Week - it needs to be an everyday habit. Don't know what to say or how to show appreciation? Check out these sample appreciation words and tips: https://lnkd.in/gXFgdT9b #thankyou #employeeappreciation #culture #saythanks #gratitude

Ongoing cultural development has many milestones. Recently, the milestone took the form of making our appreciation real. Employee Appreciation Week was a moment to pause and shower some extra appreciation. Now, appreciation should be shared daily but you have to stop and pour a little extra appreciation and that the team did. Team you leaned in, created and partipated in a stellar and remarkable way. #engagementmatters #Employeeexperience #culturaltransformation #highperformanceteams
