When we embarked on this journey, our vision was to elevate young talents to extraordinary heights. Not everyone recognises potential at first glance - take Brayden Johnson. Just over a year ago, he was overlooked, undervalued. But value isn't just a number; it's about believing in your people, your assets, your raw potential. Each talent has a unique worth, and we know we're sitting on a goldmine of diamonds right here at our club. Today, we are absolutely electrified to announce that Michael Carrick's Middlesborough has secured one of our most promising gems from Borough to Boro. It's not just a transfer - it's the launch of a star's trajectory. This young man isn't just a player; he's a future England football icon in the making. His potential is explosive. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Qayum Shakoor for discovering this extraordinary talent and to Adam Murray and his amazing team for nurturing such brilliance. But beyond this individual success, this is a testament to the power of belief. Anything is possible when you have the courage to dream, to push boundaries, to see beyond the obvious. I'm committed to instilling this fire - this unwavering belief - in every single player and coach in our organization. Two remarkable sales in two windows, and we're just getting started. Our talent pipeline is bursting with potential. Eastbourne Borough isn't just a club - we're a movement. And if you're not watching us yet, now's the time to join our journey. Believe, and you can achieve anything. Absolutely anything.

In September, the Western Reserve Port Authority board of directors voted to acquire City Centre One, where its offices are located, and the nearby Commerce Building for $6 million – an acquisition that in any other year likely would have been the most significant downtown Youngstown news story. Port authority officials see their purchase of the office buildings from Ohio One Corp. less as deviating from previous practices than capitalizing on opportunities. “This one’s a unique approach to what we do. Because what we do is all about productivity and development and what’s good for the economics of the community,” says Anthony Trevena, port authority executive director.
