It's so important to get this bit right! In order to enjoy the precious and exotic flavours of fine tea, preparing it absolutely perfectly is all the more necessary. Get the most flavour out of your tea like this ⤵️ • Boil clean, filtered water in a tea kettle or pot. • Measure about 1 teaspoon of loose tea leaves or 1 pyramid teabag per cup and place it into an empty teapot. Alternately you can use tea nets, infusers or simply place the leaves or the pyramid teabag in a cup. • Pour hot water over tea leaves, cover and allow to brew for two to five minutes (see below for a temperature and time chart). In one to two minutes, the tea is fully brewed for flavour and caffeine extraction. After two minutes, the leaves start to produce tannin, which gives the tea a stronger taste, though has soothing (purported medical) effects on digestion. You could experiment with different brewing times until you reach a flavour that suits you. • Strain the tea into cups or another tea pot to avoid over brewing. Your perfect cup is now ready to be sipped. We have listed the ideal brewing times for different types of tea on our website, go and check it out 👉 https://lnkd.in/ehQAYyHd #perfectcupoftea #howtomaketheperfectcupoftea #tealovers #cupoftea #teapeople #howtomaketea #looseleaftea #greentea #chaitea #matcha #howdoyoutakeyours #butfirsttea #socialenterprise #teatime #teadrinkers #herbaltea #teainfusions

Further taste testing trials (I should copyright that) ongoing! This time the creamy orange bar as supplied by the amazing Sarah Wood 🍫 The Chocolate Lady and Freedom Chocolate. Tasting notes: "You can expect a deep creaminess supported by the natural-tasting cacao, with far less manufactured sugary sweetness you might expect in a more commercial chocolate. The orange comes through well, but with a delightful subtlety rather than the "smack you in the face" approach of certain citrus-shaped segmented spheres. The cacao balance is good with a gentle aftertaste, with an absence of bitterness." Would be served well with a light drink, perhaps just sparkling water, either for lunch, dinner, supper, breakfast, elevenses, midnight snack, breakfast, second breakfast (if you're a Hobbit), afternoon tea, or just while out and about. A bar for all occasions.... #SupportingSMEs #Chocolate #Events

Move Over Margarita the #Paloma is coming in Hott 🥃Key Ingredients in a Paloma: Grapefruit: Fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice makes all the difference. Lime: A squeeze of lime complements the grapefruit flavor and adds a little extra tartness. Tequila: Go for blanco (or silver) tequila, which is the least aged and most agave-forward. You don’t need a really expensive bottle — just make sure to use one you like. Agave nectar: Add a touch of sweetness to balance the citrus juice. Sparkling water: A generous floater of bubbly water keeps the drink from being too boozy. 🥃How to make a Paloma: Salt your rim. Moisten the rim of an Old-Fashioned or margarita glass with a lime wedge, then dip in kosher salt to coat. Shake the ingredients. Combine grapefruit juice, lime juice, blanco tequila, and agave nectar simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice, seal, and shake until very frosty. Strain and enjoy. Pour the cocktail through a fine-mesh strainer, top with sparkling water, and garnish with a grapefruit slice. #TravelIsMyBusiness #Its5OclockSomewhere #its5oclocksomewhere

𝐓𝐄𝐀, 𝐁𝐔𝐓 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐓𝐄𝐀...🤔 While exploring new food trends, I stumbled upon a beverage called bubble tea🧋, specifically the taro-based kind. From its name to its ingredients, everything about it was a surprise. 𝕎𝕙𝕪?⬇️ Well, I’m not much of a tea person myself, but with a bit of peer pressure, I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, it was served chilled—with no trace of tea leaves or tea extract in sight! Curious to break down the name and understand what I was actually drinking🧐, I found that bubble tea consists of milk, flavors (based on your preference), and a base ingredient—in my case, taro, which gives it that sweet, nutty, and creamy mouthfeel. But the real star of the show? The “🅱🆄🅱🅱🅻🅴🆂”—small chewy pearls made of tapioca, also known as boba. Though its origins trace back to the Taiwanese community, bubble tea has now become a worldwide sensation, especially among Gen Z 😋. So, for those of us who aren’t big fans of traditional tea, here’s a fun, flavorful option that’s not really tea at all! #food #explore #cuisine #beverage #innovative #trends
