And so this is how a chapter of my life ends 🇫🇮
As I pack my life into two suitcases (again) and leave what I call home, I reflect on what this past two years have meant to me: they have been much more than studying, working, developing skills, learning, and new projects.
My time in Finland also talks about resilience, moving away from everything you knew before, navigating the complexities of foreign languages, living with +40 nationalities around you, and a completely new culture. It talks about loneliness, building a life from scratch, discovering your limits and pushing your boundaries.
But it also talks about finding home within you, discovering the world, appreciating the joy of the smallest things, realizing the strength that lies in you.
The road has been bumpy for sure, but I think about how lucky I've been of meeting so many unique, talented individuals in my two years here, and I can say it louder than ever: internationals are truly one of a kind. I hope of a world were we embrace and take care of diversity more than ever, and where everyone feels welcome to stay, to be, and to grow.
I only wish for a life that allows me to keep doing what I did in my two years here: being amazed at how wonderful living can be, surrounded by humans that support my growth, and with projects that make my eyes shine.
New chapters are opening for me now, and even though the future looks quite bright, I also know there's a part of me that olen aina vähän suomalainen.
Kiitos paljon Suomi, nähdään pian 💙
