Can a piece of music help manage pain? Our purpose-built solution for Nurofen involved partnering with a psychology researcher and a musical artist to create a track that can help ease everyday acute pain. The track ‘All of Us’ was shown to significantly reduce feelings of pain and unpleasantness in 286 study participants. Not only was the track published on Spotify, but our awareness campaign reached an estimated 5.5 million people. The project was shortlisted for a Cannes Lion, and also won a Gerety Award – a creative prize for work focused on female audiences. At Havas SO, we have one purposeful end-goal - to help our clients improve the health and lives of people. #HavasSO #PurposeDriven #HealthcareMarketing #AcutePain #MusicTherapy #PositiveChange

"Follow your passion". If I had a dollar for every time I heard this phrase. The truth is that this is only one half of the equation. The other half goes something like, "But make sure you're doing it for the right OUTCOME". If your goal isn't to make money that's fine. Just as long as you know that. But if your goal is to make money then you need to rethink your strategy. Two people doing the same thing can have two completely different approaches. It all depends on their desired outcome. This goes for anything in life. Whether you're in business or just starting a family. The key 🗝️ component is in understanding the WHY. This is ultimately what will lead you a "successful" and fulfilling career and life.
In the video, Mazvita discussed the significance of approaching music with authenticity and a genuine connection to one's inner creativity. She firmly believes that if you're making music solely for monetary gains, it won't stand the test of time. True power and resonance come from creating music that stems from the heart. "Personally, I don't rely on my music for income, and that's not the driving force behind my creative process." Whether or not you make money from music, be committed to the artistry because it's a personal expression and a way to connect with others who appreciate it. The joy of creation transcends financial success. This part of our interview with Mazvita also touch on the enduring value of music made with passion, and we hope it resonates with you. Are you you trying to change the dance without changing the music? In other words, are you trying to quick fix the symptoms without addressing the patterns and their root causes? Systemic change inside your organisation implies seeing, understanding and outgrowing the existing patterns. Otherwise, change initiatives are short sighted and not sustainable. Trying to change only the behaviour is like trying to change the dance. Addressing the patterns in your organisational culture is about changing the “music”, the underlying melody of your system that once has served you well. But now, to reach your potential as an organistion, you need to create new music. The dance will follow. 🎶 "When you go into the mindset that you're writing the next big hit, you'll choke." 🎶 In the ever-demanding music industry, the pressure to create the next chart-topping sensation can be overwhelming. In a recent conversation, Mathilde SPZ shared her thoughts on this struggle, reflecting on how the weight of expectations can stifle creativity. She discussed her journey following in the footsteps of iconic artists like ABBA and Robyn and how important it is to shift the focus back to creating music for yourself rather than chasing commercial success. Mathilde emphasized that staying true to her own voice and artistic vision has been essential in navigating an industry that often prioritizes trends over authenticity. "Once I stopped thinking about trying to match the success of others and started writing music for me, everything changed," she said. This insight is a powerful reminder for all creatives—whether you're in music or any other field—that when you focus on your passion and stay genuine, the success often follows. Authenticity resonates deeply with audiences, and in a world full of noise, it's your unique voice that stands out. Takeaway: Don't let the pressure of creating "the next big thing" consume you. Instead, trust your process, enjoy the journey, and let your creativity flow naturally. #MusicIndustry #ArtistAdvice #Authenticity #CreativeProcess #LibertyMusicPR #MathildeSPZ #Inspiration #MusicJourney #StayTrueToYourself
