Tell me another lie 🤥🤥🤥🤥 She walked in with a year old child, who was already pale and dehydrated. Fully naked due to the rise in body temperature but the leg were covered with wrapper. Curiosity made me asked her to remove the wrapper and it was a different story entirely. What is going on their in macaroni's voice but definitely it is not going to end with "oiin you are doing well slogan". The child's two feet were completely burnt , her statement was "he has a leg sore and they treated it with hot water." Madam, tell me another lie. This goes beyond leg sore and been treat with hot water, this is definitely a local way of holding children back when they faint in the olden days. There is this belief or sentiment that says "trying to disfigure a child by cutting part of their body or burning their limbs (hands or feet) will prevent them from dying. In this golden age and days, such act can definitely traumatized the child for the rest of his /her life as this can create a sense of: 📌 Inferiority complex 📌 Lack of self-confidence 📌 Resentment towards parent or their guardians 📌 A toxic trait or behavior towards people or the society. When a child is sick or a child sick often to the point of convulsion or fainting, there are many good ways of handling the situation rather than creating a long lasting suffering for such child. 📌 Check into a standard health facility immediately for a medical attention. 📌 Take note of the child's health conditions through a thorough medical investigations. 📌 Watch and improve on the kind of diet the child is taking. 📌 Take note of your environment and make it habitable and safe for healthy living. Taking care of children can be demanding, yet it should be rightfully done in order not to create a permanent scar or trauma for the child to live with. PS: It mid week party, happy Wednesday family. #childcare #saynotochildabuse #healthyliving #ilovewhatido

I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and had a cold beer. The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking. My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing, and I said, "Nothing." The reason I said "nothing" instead of saying "just thinking" is because she then would have asked, "About what?" At that moment, I would have needed to clarify that men ponder deeply on diverse subjects, sparking further inquiries. Finally I pondered an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts? Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts, but how could they know? Well, after another beer, and some more heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with an answer to that question. Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby, and even though I obviously couldn't really know, here is the reason for my conclusion: A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "It might be nice to have another child." But you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts." I rest my case. Time for another beer. Then maybe a nap. Credit goes to the respective owners ❤️

Navigating my path as a midwife while embracing a childfree life has been a journey of profound emotional landscapes. 🌿 Every birth I support is a celebration, a moment that expands my heart in ways I hadn't anticipated, forging a connection to a tapestry of stories, each unique and beautiful. Choosing not to have children of my own has shaped my story into one of its own pattern, rich and intricate. The first hurdle is navigating the all-too-familiar "So, when are YOU having kids?" question. It's about embracing our choices and respecting everyone's unique journey, right? 🌿 Then comes the wave of disbelief. Yes, it’s possible to be passionate about bringing life into the world without wanting your own mini-tribe. This revelation often invites a spectrum of reactions, but it's a beautiful reminder of the diverse tapestry of human aspirations and the importance of fostering individual fulfillment. 🍷🧀 Lastly, the depth of reflection this role invites is profound. Being amidst the miracle of birth while respecting my personal path & medical history has been a delicate dance of sensitivity and strength. 🌱💪 It's a beautiful reminder of the diverse paths we walk in life, each filled with its own joy and fulfillment. Here's to embracing our choices with open hearts and finding depth in the journeys we embark upon. 💕✨ Feeling inspired? Caesarean section use continues to rise globally, now accounting for more than 1 in 5 (21%) of all childbirths. This number is set to continue increasing over the coming decade, with nearly a third (29%) of all births likely to take place by caesarean section by 2030. While a caesarean section can be an essential and lifesaving surgery, it can put women and babies at unnecessary risk of short- and long-term health problems if performed when there is not medical need.
🔴 DYK, on January 14th 1741, Dr Jesse Bennett performed the first ever caeserian section on his wife who was unable to give birth on her own. 🔴 Today, we celebrate the incredible strength and resilience of all the amazing mothers who have undergone a C.section to bring their little one's to the world. 🔴 Every C-section is a unique journey; a testament to the courage and love that mothers have to their babies.Today, we acknowledge the bravery and determination it takes to embrace an alternative birthing method. 🔴 A special shoutout to the healthcare professionals who play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of both the mother and the child during C-sections. Your dedication and expertise make a significant impact on countless families. 🔴 To all the little ones born through C-section,today is a day to celebrate your entrance into the world. You are cherished, loved, and your journey started with an extra dose of courage and love. 📌Let's use this day to uplift and empower mothers who have experienced C-sections 🎉🎉

Introducing your newborn baby to older siblings is an opportunity to nurture a lifelong bond filled with love, support, and shared memories. 💕 Here’s our quick guide to help you introduce your newborn to their siblings and foster a loving and supportive sibling bond. 💚 Talk to older siblings about the new baby before the birth. Explain what to expect, how babies behave, and the role they can play as a big brother or sister. 🤎 Make the introduction a special moment. Allow them to spend time with the baby under supervision. 💚 Show siblings how to touch or hold the baby gently. Always supervise these interactions closely to ensure safety and comfort for both the baby and the older child. 🤎 Involve older siblings in age-appropriate tasks like fetching diapers, singing to the baby, or helping with gentle playtime under supervision. 💚 Understand that adjustment takes time for both the newborn and older siblings. Be patient with any regressions in behavior or emotional outbursts. Need additional support for introducing older siblings to your family’s newest arrival?
