Amid research and presentation preparations, the HPH Summer Student Research Program (SSRP) scholars’ week continued with a trip to Waipahu High School’s new Academic Health Center (photo 1). Waipahu High School’s health academy students will be able to receive hands-on training by being alongside HPH physicians, nurses and staff in this fully operational primary care clinic which will simultaneously offer active services to the community. One of its facilities includes the Anatomage Table, a 3D virtual dissection table displaying human anatomy and simulations (photo 2).
