York Handmade helps revive Welsh theatre “We believe our bricks are an integral part of the stunning theatre, which will prove to be a major and sustainable community asset.” North Yorkshire brickmaker York Handmade Brick Co Ltd has supplied 37,000 specially manufactured bricks for the restoration of Theatr Clwyd. The contract saw the firm collaborate with RGB Facades Limited and architects Haworth Tompkins to create and supply handmade bricks that blend seamlessly with the existing structure. And at noon, you absolutely need to be a builder. You need to be able to make a building, because architecture, in the end, is the art of making buildings.
