Last week, the Termeer Foundation proudly launched the orientation and educational sessions for our 2024 Class of Fellows, marking the beginning of an enriching year dedicated to enhancing leadership in biotech innovation. Hosted at our Boston office, the week was filled with profound insights and strategic networking, setting the stage for a transformative yearlong journey.    Foundation President and Cofounder Belinda Termeer kicked off orientation with a warm welcome and an overview of the foundational elements of the fellowship program. Renowned executive coach Michèle Barnett Berg's (Managing Director of Envisage Consulting) workshop provided Fellows with the opportunity to share their leadership journey and build community amongst the Class. Eva Quinn (Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Higher EQ LLC) provided an overview of HR-related topics that we will dig deeper into throughout the year.    The educational sessions that followed were nothing short of inspiring. The depth of the discussions deepened with Jodi Coochise, PhD, ABPP’s (Organizational Psychologist / Executive Coach) insights on 'Identities as a Leader' and Jennifer Jones, SHRM-CP's (DEI Strategist) training on diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring our leaders are well-prepared to lead and build teams with awareness.   The week culminated with a powerful panel discussion moderated by Abbie Celniker (Partner at Third Rock Ventures), featuring leaders like Abraham (Abe) Ceesay (CEO of Rapport Therapeutics), Deborah Dunsire (Former CEO of Lundbeck), and Kate Haviland (CEO of Blueprint Medicines).
