A New Era Beyond the HITECH Act: Empowering Patients with MyRxWallet While the HITECH Act of 2009 laid the groundwork for standardizing electronic health records (EHR), it’s time to move beyond its limitations. At MyRxWallet, we’re leading a revolution in healthcare technology that prioritizes patient autonomy and data security. Unlike traditional systems that lock patients into predefined formats, MyRxWallet gives patients full control over their medical records. Our technology empowers patients with explicit directives to their providers: medical information is never to be disclosed or discussed without written consent.
