HCLFoundation's flagship rural development programme – Samuday, has been advancing sustainable agriculture in Hardoi. By installing 14 solar irrigation pumps, this initiative promotes eco-friendly practices by replacing polluting diesel pumps and reducing carbon emissions. The adoption of solar energy has significantly reduced diesel consumption, saving over 37,000 liters to date. This reduction has also prevented more than 100 tons of carbon emissions, contributing to the mitigation of climate change. The initiative has lowered operational expenses for farmers, cutting fuel, maintenance, and labor costs. By empowering farmers as decision-makers and champions of sustainability, the initiative ensures a greener future for all. #HCLFoundation #SamudaybyHCLFoundation #SustainableAgriculture #SolarPower #SolarPumps
