Lets talk about the elephant in the room when it comes to recruitment...Commission. Job seekers probably hate recruiters for it and recruiters love job seekers for it - generally speaking of course. Well fun fact for you, in my 9 years of recruitment, I have not earned a cent of commission. None of my role have been commission driven, they have purely been to match people and opportunities. To provide businesses with solutions where they don't have the existing talent or capacity to deliver something. I am motivated to do what I do because I genuinely enjoy being part of peoples work journeys and supporting our clients.
