👩🏻💻Following the pandemic, at least a quarter of the workforce has permanently shifted to remote and hybrid working models. With workers spending more time at home than in the office, it’s important that employers continue to support the mental health and wellbeing of hybrid employees: 👉🏻Allow flexible working hours 👉🏻Establish boundaries between work and personal time 👉🏻Offer mental health support through wellbeing days and other policies We know it can be hard to hold open conversations about how we are feeling, but it’s crucial that employers get this right to ensure there is a positive workplace culture in place for all. ❤️ Learn more about our Resilience and Wellbeing workshops here👇🏻 https://lnkd.in/egJRgi9f

Helping Individuals & Organisations enhance Mental Health & Wellbeing, by delivering Trauma Informed & Positive Psychology Workshops & 1:1 Coaching | Brand Partner - The Mental Wellbeing Company
Do you notice any of these in yourself or your staff / colleagues? Supporting mental health and wellbeing is crucial for a healthy, productive work environment. The struggle is real, I’ve worked in a range of environments over the years and it wasn’t until a few years ago I truly knew what a safe working environment felt like. So many struggle, so many operate in survival mode to just get thru the day to pay the bills, to not upset someone else, to meet the targets set for them etc; even those of us that love our work have days where it can be a struggle. We need to do more to support everyone in the workplace, we need to make our workplaces safe spaces where everyone can thrive, with better employee health and higher job satisfaction which will lead to improved performance and better outcomes. Here are a few tips to help: **Promote Open Communication** Encourage conversations about mental health and create a safe space for employees to share their concerns. **Offer Flexible Working Arrangements** Provide options like remote work or flexible hours to reduce stress and increase work-life balance. **Provide Access to Resources** Ensure employees have access to mental health resources, it’s never a one size fits all so various signposting is crucial as is understanding the needs of your staff. **Implement Trauma-Informed Practices** Recognise the impact of trauma on mental health and integrate supportive practices within the workplace. Want to do more… Join my upcoming workshop on Trauma-Informed Practice & Awareness in the Workplace on 18th July 2024 at Blackburns Farm, Wrea Green. We’ll delve deeper into this and you’ll gain the skills to create a supportive, resilient work environment. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/e9N3yHr5 Use code SAVE20 to get the early bird discount of 20% off Learn • Grow • Thrive

On Parent Mental Health Day, we celebrate our commitment to employee wellbeing, both at work and home. When employees feel supported, they are more engaged, productive, and committed. We prioritise flexibility and work-life balance through benefits like: ⏰ Flexible hours 🏠 Hybrid work options 📆 Condensed work weeks These initiatives give working parents like James, Engineering Chapter Area Lead, and Sadia, Motor Sales Consultant, the level of control they need. James enjoys spending quality time with his three boys (even the school run 🚗!) while still delivering high-quality work. As a single mum of three kids, Sadia makes the most of flexible working hours, tailoring her schedule to fit her responsibilities at home. By embracing mental health as a priority, we are helping redefine workplace culture and create a new way of supporting working parents. When our employees thrive, so do we. #FlexibleWorking #WorkLifeBalance #ParentMentalHealthDay

Thought of the day: In today's evolving work environment, let's shift the narrative from "workload" to "work relief." Encouraging employees (or HDR students) to give their best, while managers (HDR supervisors) focus on providing relief strategies, ensures a balanced and sustainable workplace. This approach is particularly crucial in the post-COVID era, where everyone is busy, and mental health is a priority. Let's reshape our dialogue to foster a culture that values performance and the necessary relief for a thriving workforce. #WorkRelief #EmployeeWellbeing #ProductivityShift
