Reflections on Day 2 of the ABHI UK HealthTech Conference Today at the ABHI UK HealthTech Conference, the focus is on market access through collaboration, cooperation, coordination, and partnership—core principles that resonate deeply with my role as Head of Corporate Partnerships at IEMA. It's clear from todays discussions and my general observations in my role that no single individual or organization holds all the answers to many of societies problems whether it be in healthcare, sustainability or anywhere else; true innovation and effective solutions emerge when we come together. However, the challenge remains: while collaboration is often emphasized, it frequently falls short in execution. So, how do we overcome this gap? First, we must cultivate an environment where diverse voices are genuinely heard nd alued. Second, we need to establish clear, shared goals from the outset. Lastly, we must prioritize accountability and have regular check-ins and updates to continue the dialogue, move forward, and evaluate progress. First Open Innovation Camps in SLOVENIA ⚕️💡 🚀🇸🇮 The establishment of sustainable structures for introducing innovations within healthcare systems is actively beginning also in Slovenia! Health Labs4Value, initiated by two project partners – SPLOŠNA BOLNIŠNICA JESENICE GENERAL HOSPITAL JESENICE and GZS MedTech Slovenija, will take place in two parts, but with the common goal - to improve the quality of patient care, accelerate their recovery, and empower them during rehabilitation.💪📈🧑🏻⚕️ 👉 January 23 - Online workshop for patients of General Hospital Jesenice We will learn firsthand what patients undergoing conservative treatment for injuries desire and the challenges they face. With this project, we aim to enhance the quality of rehabilitation in the home environment and offer continuous physical rehabilitation and psychological support through digital solutions after discharge from the hospital. Additionally, we aim to facilitate the collaboration of various stakeholders to enable faster recovery and a quicker return to active life. 👉 January 25 - Workshop for various stakeholders at Gospodarska zbornica Slovenije premises The goal is to explore, identify, and analyze the needs of patients during their recovery period after discharge from the hospital. We aim to describe the issues from various perspectives of different stakeholders, which will assist us in conceptualizing innovative solutions and defining conditions for the development of a test proposal (prototype) for the solution.
