We recently completed a national market exploration study for MedScan3D. The obvious focus for 3D is surgical but we knew we could support broader exploration for our client in both radiography and clinical engineering, through our national frontline network. As a direct result of this we hosted a follow-on clinical engineering ‘3D open day’ with Jacqui O' Connor and MedScan3D in Tallaght University Hospital yesterday.We work very closely with Leighton Curry and his team in Tallaght University Hospital so it was unsurprising that they had such an interest in diving deeper into the tech. Well done @neil tilley our HIHI clinical liasion onsite there who delivered this and splits his time with our clients and Leighton Curry’s team.Thanks to Health Service Executive, Lucy Nugent and John Kelly who facilitate this.

Yesterday, we shared insights with the team at Tallaght University Hospital on medical 3D printing applications across various departments. The workshop included an overview presentation, live demonstrations of a Markforged printer, and an EinScan_Japan scanner, which included scanning my foot! Displaying a variety of models sparked engaging discussions, paving the way for future collaborations. Grateful to Health Innovation Hub Ireland for their support, notably Neil Tilly.
